Excellent projector for gamers, this is the deal at 67k price point and a steal at 60k that’s what I got it for on lightning sale.Pros:1. no input lag, I game on Acer predator 144hz ips monitor and I was afraid that I will notice input lag on projector, but no there is no input lag whatsoever.2. Vivid picture mode really good for games better than other projectors, games look gorgeous. One of the reason why I didn’t chose Optoma.3. 2 year on-site warranty, I was concerned about warranty that’s another reason why I didn’t went with Optoma HD142X.Been a gamer for more than 10 years, projector actually add a lot more to immersion. VR is just gimmick for me as I love to lay down on my bed and play games.

Product is good. It is purchased after reading many reviews and comparison.Delivered in timeBut packaging is poor. Product is sealed with normal tapes in its box..I opened in front of delivery boy to see if it lost any itemBut everything was in place like 3d glasses remote even pair of batteries..Everything is fine but packaging is not upto Amazon standards as the item is costly.

Picture is bright and vivid. Can be used in a moderately lit room as well, but keep in mind that this is a home projector which is intended to be used inside a dark room. In a full dark room, I could get screen widths more that 2 tubelight length (I projected it on a wall with a tubelight and got the measurement). definitely worth the money

No 3D glasses and no power cable in the box. Also the box appeared to be previously opened as it had a tape on sealing tape.

Best quality, suitable for casual movie experience at home. The contrast sharpness and brightness are awsome. True colors, no rainbow effect. Value for money.

Beware! Picture quality is out of this world! Seriously I have used cheap projectors before and its picture quality is so good. But the audio sucks. Don't know if it's like this with all the other models. But I can barely hear the speaker and when I connect it to my expensive 2 channel speakers through audio out port, the sound that's coming out is very low and I can't find a workaround. And I can also hear popping and hissing noise through my speakers when I connect this projector. The power cord was not given in the box. Also there are no 3D glasses. Even if it was there because it is expensive the seller might just take it out of the box. And it says short throw but it's not I had to put it all the way back of my bedroom to be able to get a big picture on the wall and mind you I have a pretty big bedroom. And now coming to the actual problem with this projector or any other projector in India for that matter. The lamp will only last a mere 3-8 months depending upon your usage and after that a replacement lamp will cost you around 12-15k which is a lot of money to bear. I seriously cannot afford that much when I have to pay that amount after every 5 or 6 months or so. I really love the big picture but the expenses that come with a projector is a deal breaker for any middle class person.

Muy contento, nada que envidiar a proyectores más caros. Llevo unos cuantos meses con el y no me ha defraudado. Eso sí hay que calibrarlo porque de fabrica no viene muy bien a mi gusto. Ruido del ventilador como todos los proyectores por este rango de precios, ni más ni menos. Para mí es más que un proyector de iniciación.

Ho deciso di acquistare il Benq W1050 dopo avere letto molte recensioni che lo davano come il migliore per rapporto qualità/prezzo nel marzo 2018, anche per via della ruota colore RGBRGB 6x che gli permette un'accuratezza di riproduzione del colore al 96% dello standard Rec. 709. Uso il proiettore esclusivamente per guardare film; proietto sul muro in una stanza buia, da una distanza di circa 5 m, per una diagonale di un po' più di 4 m. Alla prima accensione, si notava una vibrazione, non forte ma acuta, dipendente dalla ruota del colore; ma dopo un paio d'ore di uso si è ridotta fino a scomparire.Secondo me, questo proiettore ha molti pregi e un solo difetto, per me rimediabile. Se si guarda un film con le impostazioni di fabbrica, l'immagine lascia un po' a desiderare. Occorre comunque entrare nel menu e mettere in modalità cinema, ma si nota una lieve dominante verde, evidenziata anche dalla recensione su AVForum. Nella stessa recensione si dice che la qualità dell'immagine migliora enormemente con una calibrazione del colore professionale. Inoltre, il dettaglio nelle scene scure è piuttosto scarso. Entrando nel menu, ho prima di tutto attivato la modalità SmartEco; poi BrilliantColor (Advanced Menu / Picture / Advanced / On); già così, il miglioramento nei dettagli delle scene scure era impressionante. Però l'immagine aveva per me un eccesso di brillantezza, mi pareva un po' artificiosa. Allora ho fatto diverse prove con i vari menu di regolazione fine del colore. (Tutto questo va fatto nelle condizioni standard di visione, cioè con la camera ben buia; se si vuole utilizzare il proiettore per diapositive o in una stanza semi-illuminata, queste regolazioni non hanno senso.) L'ideale sarebbe usare un colorimetro o fare effettuare la regolazione da un professionista, ma si rischia di spendere una cifra sproporzionata al valore del proiettore. Sono andato a occhio. C'è una regolazione fine della temperatura dove ho ridotto un poco il gain del verde e un "Color Management" decisamente sofisticato per un videoproiettore di questa fascia di prezzo. Ho lasciato stare Hue e Range e ho giocato riducendo la saturazione -- è più semplice ridurla un pochino da VLC, ma così cresce il peso del lavoro sul processore; chi ha un PC potente può permetterselo. Alla fine, ho ottenuto immagini molto naturali anche se vivaci, e un dettaglio nelle scene buie che è molto superiore alle aspettative.La mia conclusione è che questo sia un gran bel proiettore per il suo prezzo. Colori pastosi e naturali, ottima definizione, mai un lag (a meno che non venga dalla bassa qualità della compressione, ma ovviamente questo non dipende dal proiettore).AGGIORNAMENTOCercando sul web e per tentativi, ho messo a punto una regolazione del colore che a me pare molto buona; passando da questa alla modalità Cinema standard sembra di cambiare il proiettore. Riporto qui tutti i miei dati, perché forse saranno utili a qualcuno. I dati riguardano la proiezione in camera buia, su un muro bianco dipinto a tempera. I termini di riferimento sono in inglese; ho impostato il menu in inglese per facilitare le ricerche e i confronti sul web.Avvertimento ovvio: queste impostazioni sono molto buone per me, non pretendo certo che vadano bene per tutti.Per prima cosa, è bene lasciare stare le impostazioni predefinite "Cinema" e lavorare su "User1" -- se ne può anche cambiare il nome.Attiviamo il menu avanzato. Lavoriamo solo nello schermo "Picture Mode", la prima tab a sinistra.Brightness: 50Contrast: 50Sharpness: 11Color Temperature: NormalLamp Power: Smart EcoAdvanced --> si entra nel menu Advanced del Picture ModeGamma: 2.3Brilliant Color: On (molto importante: nitidezza immagine, pastosità colori e soprattutto risoluzione dei grigi) Color Temperature: Red Gain 100, Green Gain 100, Blue Gain 100, Red Offset 256, Green Offset 248, Blue Offset 264 Color Management --> Si impostano le caratteristiche colore per colore. Nella prima riga in alto c'è il nome del colore; con la freccia a sn o dx si passa ad altro colore. Con le frecce in basso si selezionano, per ogni colore, Hue, Gain e Saturation. Indico Hue ecc. con H, G, S. Ecco le mie regolazioni, colore per colore:Red: H 50 G 50 S 40 (ridurre saturazione del rosso, altrimenti con Brilliant Color i rossi "sparano" un po')Green: H 50 G 50 S 33 (si toglie del tutto la dominante verde, e anche quel giallaccio che viene p. es. sulle facce dalla miscela di rosso e verde)Blue: H 50 G 50 S 50Cyan: H 70 G 50 S 55Magenta: H 69 G 50 S 56Yellow: H 40 G 50 S 46Ecco fatto. Con queste regolazioni, il cinema in camera buia è veramente spettacolare.

I work for a prestige projector manufacturer. Wanted something 1080 resolution and cheap for home use, very impressed with it straight out of the box, was the inclusion of the six segment colour wheel that made me buy it, colours are excellent and very adjustable. 3D could be slightly better compared to what I see everyday at work on expensive proffesional units but not a complaint on a consumer unit at this price. I know who builds these units for BenQ so have no complaints with the engineering inside it. Just be aware that this is an offset lens projector with no lens shift adjustment, only Zoom and focus, tilt on adjustable feet and keystone correction. Also deep black levels can never match those of a TV, but otherwise with minimal tweaking the image is excellent, but it is really too bright at the moment even in the ECO mode, needs some use for the lamp to lose some lumens to be more suited to living room viewing, Now have 120"ish diagonal image at just over 3 meters throw distance at extreme of zoom. ......pass the popcorn :-)

très bonne qualité d'image. Réglages faciles à réaliser. Un petit bruit de soufflerie si on est assis juste à côté, mais sinon il est très bien pour son prix !

Been using this a while now and its a massive upgrade from the budget elephas projector i was using which also came from amazon. The picture quality is brilliant whether streaming movies or gaming. Bought some 3d glasses to test the 3d function and it works beautifully. The fan noise is quiet and hardly noticeable when watching something. Only downside is the speakers are a bit poor so hook some external speakers up and jobs a good un. Great projector for the price and something i now cant do without.
