Please do not buy Fire stick because undermentioned problem , Adaptor is of high price which get spoiled very frequently . You can't use third party adapter . You have buy Fire stick adapter . I bought entire fire stick 2200. And bought adapter for 1200 which is not all acceptable. And then the remote eats the Duracell battery like dinosaur eats small fish , you have put 10 percent of your salary in buying battery , it needs frequent replacement of battery . The remote doesn't have volume up and down button you have to run for the remote for as and when volumes or when you want to pick up phone call. Fire stick android remote is not user friendly . It gets logged out when your phone screen gets locked . You have re log in each and every time which it takes 1 minute to reconnect .

The adapter is a original replacement for the FireTV 4K. It works fine but it costs quite a bit.

Using this charger for over 2 years and this still works fine.

Good one ....But I never expected something like Amazon branding stuff will be a problem ....I purchased firestick of Amazone and within 15 days its power adopter got damaged ....I asked Amazon for a return and they advised me to buy it by my self and they will refund me the amount ....I dont have any Idea , whether i will get it back or not ....let's wait for it....

This Charger was supplied with Amazon Fire TV Stick. Withing couple of days the Fire TV Stick was started crashing. Started rebooting (restarting) again and again and was unable to load the home screen. . First I thought the problem was with stick. Chatted with Amazon customer support who got me connected to their expert over phone call. As per his advise the TV stick was replaced with refurbished stick giving away my original stick. Even the replacement started behaving in same way. Once again connected with product support. This time the they said the problem could be with charger. Asked with to try with other chargers at home. When used with MI changer (5V-2Amp) the replacement fire stick started and worked perfectly well. Therefore it was concluded that the charger needs replacement. They asked me to buy replacement charger from Amazon online stating that the amount would be reimbursement once the replacement becomes operational. Today again after 15-20 days the even the replacement charger the Fire TV Stick has started restarting. Though Amazon has been providing replacements, I have reached my highest frustration ever with Amazon online buying experience and its product (Fire TV stick and the charger).

you have to buy again after warranty period ends just like all products i don't understand why this much expensive a adapter could be and even with this type of working quality.

Using it for firestick and charging kindle. I use this for charging bluetooth headphones too.
