Cute, But Didn’t Hold Her Interest Long
The Thready Bear interactive plush toy seemed like the perfect gift for my 5-year-old based on the ads—it’s cute, with blinking eyes, sounds, and movements, which immediately caught her attention. She was so excited when she opened it for Christmas and loved the idea of having an interactive bear that responded to her. However, after a short while, she seemed to lose interest. While the bear is fun and engaging at first, the novelty wore off pretty quickly, and she didn’t play with it as much as I expected. It’s definitely a fun toy for younger kids, but I’m not sure it has enough variety to keep them engaged for long periods. That being said, it’s still a cute toy, and if you're looking for something interactive for a brief entertainment boost, it could work. Just keep in mind that it may not hold attention for as long as you’d hope.

Stopped working after 72h. Wouldn't recommend
I bought this bear for my daughter for christmas. It stopped working after 72h and I cant get it to work again. I've put it in fast and slow mode. I wasn't going tonwrite a review about it and was jsut going to cut my losses but my daughter did really like it when she first played with it but then it soon stopped working. One day she brought it in and it wasn't emoting so I put it in fast mode and it still didn't work. I did the routine with the heart and sleeping and pressing the hand and it doesn't work still. I dont know why it isn't working it's in perfect condition. It's super annoying that I spent almost $40 on this thing and it doesn't even work anymore. Also the emotions are hard to decipher when it was working. Don't buy it

Remove temporary batteries!
I bought one for my granddaughter for Christmas. It was all she could talk about. What ppl don’t understand is is that, YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE TEMPORARY BATTERIES!!!’ Only then will it work properly and non- stop!! It comes in a default mode with temporary batteries. So pull out the contact piece in the back, change from turtle to rabbit , replace batteries and presto watch the fun begin!!

Simple bear that makes weird sounds
When I first saw the advertisement I thought my granddaughter would love this so I purchased it and was so disappointed. Basically a bear that winks and makes sounds that sound like a baby, and that’s simply all it does. You can tickle his tummy and he giggles, the quality is good and he’s a cute toy but was boring after a few minutes. She played with it when I first gave it to her and hasn’t touched it since. This might work for a toddler 2-3 but my granddaughter is 5 and she was bored of it

A fun friend for a kindergartner
My 5-year-old really loves this bear. It makes emotive noises kind of like a minion (not real words). She wanted to take it to school which was not allowed, but as a compromise I strapped it to the front of her scooter and the bear said "wheeeeee!" All the way to school. It also cries (for example, when dropped!), laughs, snores (if you leave it on its side too long), and makes happy chatter. We have been turning it off at night so it doesn't make any badly timed noises. As far as toys go, this thing isn't loud enough to be disruptive or distracting in normal day to day life. This is a good gift for children who like to "take care" of dolls or stuffed animals, because the responses really add dimension to the pretend play.
