My ten year old son reads these at school and has collected the first five series for his personal library. They are fairly simply written with a plot any youngster can follow easily, In fact, all the books we've read together so far have the same plot with a few minor variations thrown in. My son is actually getting a little bored with the familiar nature of the stories and I can't see him collecting the multitude of books remaining but he still dips in and out of them from time to time.

Beast Quest Series never disappoints. Our used-to-be-very reluctant reader is now a voracious reader and Beast Quest Series can't be delivered soon enough to our doorsteps. Though the paper is not that great quality, the illustrations in the book is always attention grabbing to him who has high attention to details. This Book Series include - Krabb Master of the Sea, Hawkite Arrow of the Air, Rokk The Walking Mountain, Koldo The Arctic Warrior, Trema The Earth Lord and Amictus The Bug Queen! All great reading in less than a week.

My son (now 8) has read these in order, starting with Series 1, and continues to enjoy them. If you enjoyed Series 1-4, you'll enjoy this. Great story line for kids who like anything to do with epic adventures.
