Great for outside events or just using in your home, the lids are durable and seem to remain in tact and sturdy for an incredibly long time and they are spill proof!

I love these. They are very small and the lids stay close. At first I was putting my salt and pepper in ziplocks and then I will eventually have a spill in my lunch bag. I love how small and cute they are. They hold a lot. I dont think I will need a refill for weeks or even months. They are a good investment. I washed it after receiving it in the mail and it was easy to wash and dry.

Updated review 5/3/2019: Original review below. Ok, so I purchased these and wasn't happy with them but kept them since it would have cost me what I'd paid to ship back. Tossed them in a box and promptly forgot about them. Months pass and eventually come across them again while cleaning. Started fiddling with them trying to figure out why they hadn't worked because they should have. Finally realized that they have excess plastic on their top edge that is uneven and prevents the cap from locking into position. And since it isn't a tight fit, every time you try to flip the cap top open, it comes off instead.My solution? Taking a sharp knife and slicing off the extra plastic leaving a smooth, even edge.The result? Shakers that work as intended. The only other thing I had to do was insert a toothpick to widen the holes in the salt shaker because kosher didn't fit through it well. Regular iodized salt had no difficulty.Conclusion: if you would like a small pair of convenient shakers for your own personal use and don't mind a little DIY, I recommend these. They're really lightweight and fit in my purse, no problem.Original review: These would have been perfect except for the fact that I can't open them without the entire top coming off. Every. Single. These are amazing! They are easy to open/close and seal up nice and tight. We use them in our camper van. They have been in the van all winter and no moisture has gotten in! Wish they came in other colours. But that’s about the only negative thing I can say about these salt and pepper shakers!

The lid itself is so tight that the entire cap pops off when trying to pry it open. The hard-plastic cap is almost too well made, requiring a lot of pressure to simply open the lid. The container, though, is made of such soft plastic that its threads don't hold the cap on tightly enough. Press open the lid and the cap flies off!

Nice idea, poor execution. The holes are WAY too small, get blocked up VERY quickly. It's on my list to things to do to enlarge the holes with a small drill bit. Pretty far down the list... but has to be done if I'm actually going to use these as the travel salt shakers I was wanting. Until then, these are not at all practical, even for fine salt.

Easily stick them in your pocket or lunchbox

My daughter likes a blend of seasonings on her meat and fish, so we got her this set so she could take some of the seasoning with her in the pepper shaker in her school bag to the dining hall when she went off to college. Works like a charm! Would also be helpful if you required a salt substitute or other seasonings when going to restaurants.
