I may not be an expert on matcha (though I am a big fan of teas) but what I do know is the colouration is one of the most satisfying things about it that elevates it above other good tasting types of tea, in this case this immediately caught my eye as I am mostly used to acquiring green coloured powders. Turns out this is a type of tea made from butterfly pea flowers and is completely natural despite the impressive colouration, its also pretty tasty as a tea so that's nice.I will admit before I tried to do anything fancy with it I jokingly used it to make up some blue milk that looked like what Luke had in one of the older star wars movies but obviously far tastier, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get it mixed decently well with a cold liquid. Does in fact work great as a food colouring for a bunch of cooked things too with desserts being the most obvious, in fact you can theoretically use it to create a fully blue cake since the cream and icing are also options to use this with.I won't really comment on pricing since I don't really know the value of this type of thing but its fun, versatile and tasty as a tea so I would at least recommend giving it a try, certainly will be on the lookout to hopefully acquire other things by this brand.
