I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 and wanted to know if this Shock would fit my needs, My mechanic says I need to do one axle at a time..

John, apologize for not responding sooners. Regarding these shocks and fit as long as you correctly identified your vehicle when selecting using the Amazon vehicle app, I'm sure they will fit, everything I've ever ordered has fit perfectly. Regarding ride quality, thou advertised as "Softride" these are not your over the counter Monroe's these, are twice the size and not as compliant. With that said, I've had mine on my 1986 Jeep Comanche and the ride now is much better then when first installed, very solid and stable. Regarding one axle or two, I will not refute what a professional mechanic says, other than you will notice a difference between axles, and quite honestly I would never replace just two tires, I always replace all four. Just my advice. Hope this helps in your decision and good luck!

Do these come with new bolts?

Nope. What you see is what you get in this case. I was able to reuse my old ones. They do come with new bushings and nut for the top though.

Can these shocks actually lift your vehicle?

no they are just a standard shocks in order to get lifted you will have get a lift kit or some vehicles have enough fender well clearance that your can get a larger " taller" tire .
