What fresh ingredients do I need?

The noodles are just flour and water, so you only need basic pantry items. We include the tools, instructions, and all the specialty spices. For things like meat or fresh vegetables, check the recipe cards — they list exactly what to pick up.

Can I make these noodles gluten-free?

Not at the moment. Gluten is what gives the dough its stretch, so we haven’t found a gluten-free version that works well yet.

Are the noodles really spicy?

Only if you want them to be. You can add as much or as little as you like. The Sichuan pepper is a unique spice with a tingly, numbing flavor, and it’s probably something you haven’t tried before. It’s easy to adjust to your comfort level.

Do I need any cooking experience?

No, not at all. The steps are simple, and the dough is forgiving. It’s meant to be fun, not stressful.
