It should fit. I have a Sentra too, Probably about the same age .

Q: Are these cloth bags as my tech said was what they prefer you to use, paper let's the micro dust through as the cloth bags do not?

They are not paper. I am not sure if i would call them cloth, but they are some type of synthetic fibers and are definitely not paper. They work great. I have three German Shepherd Dogs and vacuum constantly. I had to purchase a second lighter (canister) vacuum to use on my hardwood and area rugs upstairs as i can no longer carry my Serta up and down the stairs (carpet downstairs) and noticed that my area rugs are not as clean as they once were. I now bring the Serta up every other week or so to give my area rugs a good cleaning. Never had a problem with these bags. they hold a lot and seem to pick up and not generate particles back into the air.
