Fuses have Different sizes
See the photo below to understand differences. Please realize that every hardware kit is different.This did not fit my car.It is not a seller problem,but I just want to remind everyone that many fuses are different from the micro two or low profile mini.Different sizes are used in different cars.These pen were the wrong size,making it impossible to get a secure connection in the fuse box.Make sure to pull a fuse from your car and compare it to the product photo first.Beyond the fitment issues,ensure you check your camera needs Type C or mini USB.Sadly,I have returned this item due to. Compatibility error.

It's a power cable
This cable is a great buy for 5 bucks, it works as it should, it's easy to install and it's a solid standard C so just about anything can be plugged into it. The only part that I don't like about it is the fact that the fuses are built into the wire and nothing tells you what amperage they are but they are both blue so they SHOULD be 15 amps, so far I've had no problems with them plugged into 15 amp circuits but I would recommend using fuse taps or an add on fuse box just in case.

Works as designed, cord to short, inverter box not in ideal location, otherwise great!
Rating it 4 stars because it was TOO short, and the inverter box ended up literally in my door jam, barely 1ft or so more would have been enough. I could not use the length on the other side at all, I left that coiled up. I had to get a USB-C extender, actually had to try several, because I needed on slim enough to fit inside my headliner, since I had to extend it from the camera side. The vehicle is a Subaru Impreza, which is basically a compact or small car, so the cord seems way short and that was my same issue with the cigarette power cord it comes with, that as also ~2ft or so too short, at least 1ft. Aside from that, it is great, and works as intended. I did have to order and use a "Add a circuit Fuse". The one this one comes with hijacks your existing fuse, so you cannot fuse the accessory and this separately, which I wanted. I assumed this one had a dual fuse holder, one for existing, and one for what you were adding on. It may not have been necessary, but its what I ended up with. Amazing value for money for a front/rear camera. Also great that has option for wired power. Great app on phone can automatically record locked videos.

Nice, just works and is easy to fit
Quite surprised how easy this was to fit. Simple use a volt meter to find blue fuses (15A) where one is live without the ignition turned on and the other only goes live when ignition is on. Simply replace the kits fused wire with each fuse. Find an earth / ground point and screw thet other wire to the metal of the car. Done. I faffed about double and treble checking because the instructions didnt tell me that their wires with fuses on were 15A fuses (I know nothing about cars) but a quick check on what the fuses were using AI and job done. I could have done it in 3 minutes had I just replaced fuses by the colour (Blue). Anyway, the cable length is plenty and I simply plugged into my GKU e200 dash cam and that was it.

Works perfectly
Bought this hardwire kit separately for my GKU dash cam, and it works exactly as expected. Installation was straightforward, and it powers the dash cam reliably for parking mode. The low-voltage protection is a nice bonus. Just make sure it’s compatible with your fuse type. Great add-on for full dash cam functionality.

A good product, but make sure it fits your car
Although I took care to make sure that the hard wiring kit had the correct mini-fuses for my car, the plastic plugs were too bulky to fit in the slots in the fuse box in my Range Rover, so I had to buy piggy-back fuse extensions and plug the hard-wire kit into those, which is not ideal. I mentioned this in my original review, and GKU contacted me to pay for the piggy back fuses, a very nice gesture from a very good company.
