Better than Tombow for brush lettering!
-- FIRST IMPRESSIONS --Why I Switched from Tombow:I just got this brush pen and I absolutely love it. I bought this because I wanted to see if I would like the Brushbables more than the Tombow Dual Brush Pens, which are pretty much the go-to for brush lettering. I didn't like the Tombows because I felt like the tips frayed easily and also because they were pretty hard to control.Pros:- The tip feels resilient. It's soft enough to get your thick lines in but it's resilient so your thin lines will be easier to make. The ink flows nicely and it's rich. It feels like it will be less likely to fray (I will update this as I use it more).- The ink is rich and flows nicely.- There are two BRUSH colors (black and grey). I think this is a step up from the Tombow dual brush pens because they didn't actually have two BRUSHES. Instead, there was one color with a brush end and a marker end. With this, I get two colors, potentially at the cost of ink cartridge space (meaning it will likely run out of ink faster than the Tombows).Cons:- Potentially runs out of ink faster than other brush pens with just one color and one brush tipRating: 5 stars for its quality. Bit pricier than I wanted but seems better than my other alternative (Tombow dual brush pens).*These are my first impressions. I will update this as I run into other things to say about this pen.*

and so far I am extremely satisfied. I wasn't expecting nor wanting the grey side
I just received this guy in the mail, and so far I am extremely satisfied. I wasn't expecting nor wanting the grey side, but I'm glad so I can make myself learn how to use it. The black brush provides a rich, dark inky black and has fair line size variation. When I first used the brush, he thick black made me shiver ooo it was great

Large brush pen works great.
I am new to brush lettering. I bought this along with a set of colored ones to practice with. This is considered a large brush pen. Works great.

Very nice brush pen
Very nice brush pen. Exactly what I've come to expect from a Japanese writing instrument. I wish the other end was a smaller brush version of the same color black instead of the gray, but the gray is useful too.

The grey color it looks exactly as the black on the other side of the marker
Teres two colors on the marker but both of them are pretty similar, the grey is a really dark grey so if u are searching for a lighter grey color this won't work. But overall the marker its pretty easy to write and good quality.

Not so great for beginners
I bought this because I saw it mentioned as a good entry level option. I must be extra-beginner, because I'm finding it frustrating how difficult it is to maintain a thin upstroke.I also wish there was a greater color variance between the two ends.Using my watercolors I have a much easier time with this vs. thick lines using my #6 Escoda watercolor brush. I'll keep trying other pens I guess.

Five Stars
One of my favorite brush pens, easy to use, very black ink and flexible nib.
