Very good drivers if placed on the right materials. check out 'Fantastic DIY Speakers for less than $30!' on youtube to get an understanding of what materials to use and also their placement on the back.Before buying these I did check on Dayton Audio web site for the technical info. They show a frequency response test for each exciter they sell.These ones seem to have the largest frequency range from 100hz up to around 18khz.Other exciters by Dayton Audio can handle more power but not so wide a frequency range or are suited for damp environments.Don't worry about the 5 watt rating for the audio. these do go loud. since they are 4ohm impedance, they can be used in a pair connected in series to make 10 watts at 8 ohm (which I did).I placed mine on acoustic ceiling tiles (also sold Amazon) hanging with picture hook kits on coat hook.They sound great. surprisingly loud but DML speakers always are. Yes they are a bit bass light but a separate sub woofer can get around this.Amazingly clear with great room filling sound but still clear left and right separation. a lot of detail in the sound as well.For the amplifier, I use the DROK Mini Stereo Audio Wireless Bluetooth Amplifier 30 watt (also sold on amazon).Great home theatre setup.One review on the web rates these better than KEF 550 and those are £799 speakers !

These are too small to be effective in most situations - I recommend go for the 25mm version which is much more capable

Usati in modo... improprio, per mettere in vibrazione un gruppo mobile si sono distinti per rapporto potenza/dimensioni. Non avendoli usati nel modo prescritto però non so dire come si comportino nel normale utilizzo di riproduzione musicale. Spero tornino disponibili e ad un costo conveniente.

I bought these to use as the third round of drivers in a custom Bone Conduction Transducer headphone setup. Long story short, they're part of an experiment to reduce the absolute SPL experienced at the tympanic membrane in a monitoring situation where hearing damage is a concern. As for how they perform in that role, more data must be collected... but for casual use as a BCT, these are bordering on overkill. Depending on how they're driven and where they are placed in this context, it is possible for the listener to experience more low-frequency vibration than one might call pleasant. But as long as the volume knob is kept in check, they do the job well.In a more traditional tactile transducer roll, these units perform surprisingly well for their size and power requirements. Place them on a variety of surfaces for never-ending amusement at what random objects you can turn into a speaker. Wood table top? Sure! Cardboard box? Amazing! .500" polycarbonate panel? ... eh... not so much.

Using them on my sim racer. Mounted them to the base of the foot pedal plate, and turns them into speakers.
