Waterproof Distribution Protection Box, ABS Plastic Breaker Electrical Box and Transparent Cover IP65, for Indoor Outdoor Wall Circuit Breaker (HT-8WAY)

Just got this a few days ago so haven't installed it yet. It will be my first foray into din rail mounted equipment. I have a din mounted block for ground wires and two wifi automated switches. that are going to go between the houses circuit breaker and the water heater and dryer. Our utility started on demand pricing for 3 hours a day recently and are charging 8 dollars a kilowatt hour during that time period. even doing our best, 25% to 35% of our bill is coming from that 12% of the day. With most of it I suspect the hot water heater.The box is a basic little plastic box with a clear cover and a short din rail mounted inside. It didn't come with a grounding bus in it which I assumed it would have but no, not so much. It did have the din rail though so that was good. The automation switches fit well along with the din mounted grounding bar. It has plastic knock outs on all four sides to bring wires in where you want. Once stuff is connected you can screw the front cover on and the plastic see through door will open to let you accesss the controls of the din switches.Honestly I like these form factors better than the us standard circuit breakers. I have seen some examples with a main circuit breaker and multiple switches beside it on a din rail, including all kinds of custom function switches and breakers. It's kinda a customize your own breaker box and breakers system. We will see how it works in the long term. I might get a big steel box to mount on the wall and then mount this and other boxes inside that as an extra fire safety buffer encase a breaker or switch melts down.

RE: 5 WAYI could not have designed a better box. Quality is also first class. Moved breakers from an exposed DIN rail and gave them a neat and tidy new place to protect them instead of hanging out exposed on the wall. I did this for looks and safety. This box accomplished both objectives. Really looks nice now.I like there is not a bunch of stuff printed on the exterior of the box. I like the screws are balanced with one in each corner. I like the solid feel and secure closure of the front access panel. i like the box was easy to drill holes in with a step bit. I like there is ample room to work with inside. After much searching and looking at two dozen other boxes I like that I stumbled across this one. I like it so much that I bought another.I live with a casual case of OCD where things have to be perfect. This was the box for me. Perfect little box.

VERY THOUGH OUT PRODUCT! ALONG WITH THE ASSOCIATED BREAKERS I USE THEM FOR LOCAL POWER RESET IN THE KITCHEN (AFTER THE GFI) AT OUR ABNBS SO IF GUEST KICKS A BREAKER, WE DO NOT HAVE TO GO THERE!!

This box is amazing at the price point. Good design and easy to use.

The structure is not very rigid. Due side loading from the routing of the flex conduit there is distortion of the case where the flex conduit attaches. Better planning on my part or thicker material used for the box could have eliminated this problem.Overall fit and finish were excellent and I am happy with the product.

Using this for a 120amp DC breaker for a solar application. Works really well. Be careful when you fasten the cover. There are two sets of screws and both will fit the holes but one set is too short and will take some effort to remove! I speak from experience on this issue! Also, has a nice clear little plastic cover to keep dust out and cover the switch. Great for dusty environments.

This waterproof breaker box is exactly what I needed for a professional and secure electrical setup. The construction is very sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence that it will protect the breakers from moisture, dust, and outdoor conditionS

Produto veio dos Estados Unidos chegou super rápido recomendo caixinha vai caber e encaixar bem no equipamento EARU disjuntor que medi a energia wifi, e desliga e liga. So teve probleminha bem pequeno a caixa veio com uma avaria minúscula na vedação meio que estragadinha mais não perde o valor do produto e nem entra água só uma pequena modificação talvez no transporte ou veio com esse problema direto de Fábrica.
