I ordered this for a 40th birthday gift for someone who loves model making and also steam trains, needless to say it was a big hit.As a family we have several different models by this brand so I had no hesitation in ordering this product. From previous experience everything is precisely cut, fits together well and the colour and finish is exceptional. The recipient hasn’t finished this particular model as yet but the indication is that this is just as good as others we have tried.A great product, but in my opinion probably best suited to young adults and above.

Only just started building the model, but so far the instructions are easy to follow, most of the wood is thick so it will be hard to break (although there are a few of the dreaded accordion style pieces!) and there are paper parts and a few stickers which I haven't done yet! Overall it looks good so far and it's an enjoyable build

fits together well but as the parts were black i found it to see the part numbers but that could just be me as i dont usually do coloured models!

If you touch up some of the paint, it looks really good

This is the 2nd model I have from this company. The 1st was an owl clock and the pieces didn't go together properly and this train is the other model. Now as far as I can see there is a part missing.

This was one of the best if not the best I have built it went together quite easily and looks fantastic
