Works great on a 2007 FJ Cruiser for towing, see review!
This style transmission cooler "tube and fin" was recommended by my mechanic, he said it cools more than the panel style. I installed it myself in an hour or so on a 2007 FJ Cruiser. I picked this one because the total weight my FJ can tow is 5,000lbs and this cooler is rated for that. Looks very sturdy I installed it in front of my A/C condenser. I installed it in line after the oil goes though the stock cooler in the radiator, then goes though the hayden cooler so the return oil is as cool as possible. My before transmission Temps were 170-180 normal driving and 200-207 towing. I hear the Toyota transmission run hotter but I don't want to risk it. Now with the cooler my Temps are 150 normal driving and 170-180 towing. I did 1200+ mile round trip recently in outside Temps of up to 90. I towed a 19 foot aerolite around 4500 lbs maybe close to 5000 with my gear, provisions, wate, etc. The only time my towing temp got a little over 200 was when going through donner pass. I could imagine if I didn't have the cooler my A/T temp warning light might of gone on. By the way my FJ has 135k miles on it! I'm sure it appreciated the extra cooling provided by hayden. Great cooler definitely recommend!

Great price for price of mind. Now I don't have to worry about the transmission getting destroyed by coolant.Whoever t thought that was a good idea is jerk. Great for auto manufacturers. If the coolant and transfluid mix goodbye transmission.

Added miles to my Nissan Altima transmission
I couldn't drive my 07 Nissan Altima on the interstate at high speed without the transmission making a whining sound I added this cooler and flushed the transmission and it's doing great I can drive 80 on the interstate and no whining don't know if it will fix everyone's but it did mine

Missing parts
They did not provide all the parts (locking buttons) and customer service expected Amazon to fix it. Other than having to fabricate parts under duress, the item appears to be well made.
