I find this sugar wonderful. I was nervous about opening the top, because in the reviews some people had issues. I found the top very easy to open and have been using this sugar in almost everything, especially when serving guest espresso since it dissolves so quickly. I just reordered another tub of this sugar.

This is somewhat finer than normal granulated sugar. I got it mainly because of the packaging. I live in the country in an old house and we have mice every winter. This packaging makes sure the mice aren't intruding into the sugar. I do a lot of baking, so all my flour goes into sealed plastic buckets.The sugar itself is finer than normal granulated "table" sugar but not quite as fine as confectioner's sugar.

Love the reusable tub

I purchased 3.5 lbs C & H Baker's Sugar. It came in a plastic tub that seems sturdy and good for storage, likely easy to scoop sugar when opened. The problem was that the two tabs to pull the opening strips, one in front and one in back, malfunctioned. One tore at the tab site, the other went a few inches, then ripped away from the container. I called C & H Sugar and reported it. I sent photos to C & H. They may be looking into the problem with the packaging. In the meantime, Amazon refunded the cost, about $20. The same C & H Baker's Sugar is available at some grocery stores in a "milk carton" style holding 3.5 lbs for less than $8. Thank you, Amazon!

I’m British and traditionally we only use this kind of sugar. I think that it is a better choice for baking and for sweetening drinks.I recommend it!
