If you love the look, order this lamp. It took me 5 minutes to assemble. It was shipped quickly & carefully. I love the burlap shade and the lamp itself is heavy & stable. I do have littles that come over. It really is a beautiful addition to my great room!

We bought this lamp for our lanai. We wanted something nice but not expensive. This fit the bill perfectly. It comes in three pieces and is extremely easy to assemble - just screw then together on the pre-installed threaded bolts. Ypu just need to make certain that you hand tighten them well, otherwise it could be a little wobbly.The lamp and shade are good quality and look very nice.We would definitely purchase this item again

Love this lamp! It’s heavier than I thought which is great! It’s also bigger than I thought! I actually bought this “used” from Amazon and so far I’ve never been disappointed buying anything used! Such a beautiful standing lamp! I would purchase again!

UnFortunately, our lamp does not matchup to the reviews of the other purchases. The lamp comes in three sections, the bottom section and middle sections of this lamp were fine. They looked nice, were tightly fitting, and easy to assemble. The top section is where I ran into a great deal of difficulty. The conduit was either too short or misaligned to hold the top section to the rest of the base. I believe the conduit for the top section was too short causing the assembly to be misaligned during the manufacturing process. Usually, I run to the hardware store and get what's needed to fix the lamp. After a thorough examination, I would need a special slotted tool that is probably only available where lamps are manufactured. I am going to have to return this lamp this lamp. I'll order a new one, but what a real hassle!

The lamp and shade came in good condition as appearing in the picture. For the price, it was a good buy. It assembled easily and worked. I will note that the pieces of the pole do not exactly line up evenly when assembled. The holes that hold the screws to stack the pieces together, were not drilled exactly on center. But the variance is slight and not really noticeable unless you are actually looking for it. (reason for the 4 stars) The shade is a rough jute and is lined in off-white fabric, with metal veins running top to bottom between the jute fabric and the liner about every 7+/- inches to keep the shape. The shade lining is not 'perfect', but has a couple of small wrinkles or buckles, but they are not noticeable unless you stick you head up under the shade and look inside (so again, the four star rating). The three-way switch works properly and the light from the shade is very warm and golden. Not a $600 lamp, but a great looking floor lamp, especially for the price!

Really nice floor lamp...especially for the price! Much more affordable than what the popular home catalogs have to offer. And the shade is included with this lamp...which is a bonus. (I got the ribbed shade, so I guess it's a crap shoot as to which shade you will receive.) This lamp was very easy to put together and is sturdy. The one little thing that could be improved is that the little black ball finial that holds the shade in place is too small to hold the shade tightly/securely, and the small size is not on scale with the rest of the lamp. I replaced the small finial with a much larger black ball finial that I happened to have, and it holds the shade securely and looks much nicer too. Overall, I am very happy with this lamp! The hubby likes it too.

I bought this for my daughter's apartment, since she was lacking light in a location where she likes to read and use her computer. The lamp is even nicer looking than the photos on Amazon and I assembled it easily, in just a few minutes, with no problems at all. I thought that perhaps the darker shade would cut down on the necessary light output, but I was wrong. It is high enough from the floor that it casts a nice bright light on the "work area" without blinding you when you are standing and looking at eye level. All-in-all, this is one of the nicer floor lamps I've ever had or used and it has a nice appearance that could blend well with many different styles.

The lamp comes in 4 already wired pieces you can just put together with your hands. Assembly took 1 minute. Materials are good quality. Recommended buy
