Worked well
We took these along on a recent trip to the US. We wanted a little more data security while on planes and at the many airports we went through. They worked great and offered peace of mind. I'd definitely recommend them and would buy them again.

Recommended: Blocks AND maintains the charge rate
Functional: This blocks data and charges phone WITHOUT reducing the charge rate. Compatible with Samsung phones. Most USB data blockers are simple/crude and simple cut the data line. Many phones e.g. Samsung use the data line to check and permit a faster charge. This device convinces the phone to continue at fast charge whilst blocking the data from the power source. in a simple test on a Samsung Phone using USB-A adapter - PortaPow : Charging - Fully charged in 1 hr 59 mins - JSAUX: Charging - Fully charged in 57 mins The simple ones are ok for overnight charging but too slow for daytime charging. I will use this device on a bus, airport, cafe etc because there is no loss in the charge rate.
