Sebago represents authentic products and timeless design. Their original, hand-sewn Docksides boat shoe and Classic Beefroll penny loafer haven't changed since they first crafted them decades ago. Sebago is a celebration of everything New England.where life in, on or around the waters is a geographical unavoidability; where they are nautical in their traditions but deliver a future of performance and ingenuity. Their shoes are about performance--not just the technical kind, but the way a shoe behaves in its right environment, whether it be on boats or city streets. Each classic Sebago design is carefully designed to perform at its best.

Love these Chukkas
What can I say but that I love Sebago shoes. They cost a bit more but you get what you pay for and it is worth it. I lucked into a low price on these Chukka boots but they go with jeans or dress pants and they are comfortable for all day wear.

Not sure they are made of leather- Most likely not
Funny how low reviews go to the bottom of the page on this site. Just go them and I must say that although they look very nice I have really strong doubts that they are made of real leather as described. They are comfortable but really do not provide any arch support nut that is expected from a "Chucka" boot. Bottoms are always flat by definition. Not sure If I will keep them Just do not like wearing fake leather stuff and the description said they were leather. You'd have to scratch it to know for sure and don't want to ruin them in case I decide to return them. But there is no smell or texture of regular leather. Pleather maybe but NOT leather.

Good, if the price is right.
I purchased these to wear all day at an outside festival, while I'm on my feet. I wore them from 7 AM to 8PM on Saturday and Sunday, and walked a minimum of 10 miles. It rained heavily on Saturday, so the ground was quite slippery and muddy where I was. The traction was better than most tennis shoes I've owned, but not as good as some other boots because the traction slits in the sole are not that deep. However, it was adequate for me, and I didn't feel as if they were too slippery although I did lose traction a few times. Previously, I wore a similar pair of Born shoes. Compared to the Born, the inside cushion is not as comfortable. I didn't develop any major foot pain, but wanted more padding - especially at the heel. Also, the foot length is good, but you cannot really get them tight on the top, so there's basically always room for your leg to move around and rub against the top of the shoe, and if you have slim ankles you will never be able to get them tight.Overall, I think these are good shoes, but personally I'd only buy them again if they were considerably less expensive than similiar Born models.

Very nice shoe but it is about 1 size too large
Very nice shoe but it is about 1 size too large. I wear size 10 and ended up returning the shoe for a size 9. Probably could have fitted into a size 8.5.

uncomfortable shoe
These boots are terrible, the uppers are not leather and are very hard, not supple. It is very uncomfortable. I wore them a few times and threw them out. I thought if I broke them in they would get more comfortable, not so

Buy 1 size down
They fit quite a bit bigger (and wider) than expected, but are very comfortable and the sole feels very sturdy underfoot.

Stick with the boat shoes from Sebago.
For a company like Sebago to offer this shoe is a disgrace. First, the shoe is about 1/2 a size larger than the standard size. If you wear a 10, you would really want a 9.5. The width is also an issue. The shoe say M, however the actual width is D.The leather material of the shoe is a cheaper grade than normal Sebago leather. I have to say this was the worst Sebago shoe I've ever purchased. Stick with the boat shoes from Sebago.
