this is an interesting item. i thought it was to be dehydrated, but its packed wet. large pieces. already marinated, not sure i like the original taste. i added some dry spice and then let it soak in a bit then fried a bit. it was pretty good tbh. i will buy again but i prefer to spice my own tvp. so its on the menu and will be bought again and is recommended. i think 2 pieces are good for one dinner portion. so a value for the money id say. lots of protein and the texture and is solidly meaty.

Kind of nasty then again it is Vegan. I'm 67 went Vegetarian at 15, ate eggs, drank milk, ate fish, no pig/beef/foul/reptile. For a while went full Soy Vegan and did achieve Gynecomastia from the soy, yes those breasts do grow men. Returned to my former ways but still ate the occasional fake meat. Honestly anything mixed with proper seasoning and you can't tell what it is. This will never be a regular purchase and possibly not even a yearly purchase. I have about half the bag frozen divided into cut up pieces and full strips. Maybe worth it at half the price but as something to add flavor instead of mere texture not so much.

Pan-fried, bbq'd, or grilled is the way to go with these 🥳

I don't like the texture. It's looks like if seitan was mixed with beans and the seitan is almost grey. Tried a few seasoned and cooked tenders on a salad and I tossed the rest. Would not recommend.

I expected dehydrated pieces. I can still use for fajitas but once opened will need to freeze left overs.

Tasted terrible. I could do better. Texture was not bad.

These were horrible. They did not taste like any kind of meat. I will never purchase this again.
