Great service. I only started using the fresh service recently. Very impressed.

This thick sliced Hovis bread makes the best toast on a morning. The bread is lovely and soft for a quick sandwich, but toast is where it’s at! A good lashing of butter when the toast is still piping hot then a scrape of marmite. I’m salivating now while typing just thinking about how well this bread toasts and makes the perfect breakfast.

We have tried so many alternatives that are cheaper, including store(s) own one's, and each time we think we found a cheaper viable option, something changes, not as fresh, drys out faster, or by the time you get over half way through the loaf it's only fit for toast. This on the other hand seems to be consistent, always useable, but obviously if you don't go through it as fast for some reason, then the above is the same, as with any such items, and we have found cheaper bread that seems ok in 1 loaf, but the next can be lacking, so we always seem to come back to this, more expensive bread compares with Hovis, but not enough to make a difference to us.

Fluffy, soft and toasts so well. This bread is a staple in our weekly shop.

Don't like the taste of this bread !!! Not for me !! Superb delivery 👌

Perfect if sold for under £1 but not worth £1.30+. Sometimes, slices can feel stale even if the bread is well within the use by date
