Unfortunately screws don’t fit the threads

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I liked the idea of this platform over the other 'major' option. It's pretty amazing actually! I think it's designed better as well. Installation is a breeze and, being totally modular, moving things around any time I want is fantastic. I can't speak for longevity, but I see no reason why it won't last. It seems extremely sturdy. My only complaint would be that the phone holder needs to be a hair bigger. I have an iPhone 14 Plus with a slimmer case on it, but it won't fit. I have to use the tablet holder for my phone. Not a big enough complaint to take a star off though! If you own a JK....BUY IT!!

Two screws to install, well built, sturdy, fits JL 2 door Definitely worth the purchase! Only thing I’d change is the phone holder rattles a little when your phone is not in it. I would rather use another tablet holder for the phone. Otherwise great product

I love this product. It suits my needs better than other competing or similar products I've found, yet also allows for unimpeded view of the road in front of my Jeep. I should note that some of the reviews for this product appear to correspond to a different product - most likely another (and completely different) product from this same vendor, possibly using the same landing page. Or possibly the way some vendors change products, but post them to a pre-existing product page to retain review counts. In any case, this review is for the Dash Mount Platform for the 2007-2017 JK/JKU Jeep Wrangler. I have to click a star, but the real rating i would give is "NO STARS". If the threading was done correctly it would be a good product. No attention to detail makes the accessories unusable, so the product is defective. Screws slip out and phones, tablets, and any other mounts will not hold up. Not even close to secure!!!

I recently purchased this dash mount kit for my 2008 Jeep JK and I must say I like the kit. When I unboxed the kit I immediately noticed the quality of the materials and mounts were really good. Everything was lightweight and made of metal minus the tablet holder. Installation was really simple, no cutting or drilling was required. I just popped off the plastic cover plates on the dash of the Jeep and was able to mount the main crossbar using the provided posts and screws. The front part of the mount is held to the dash using the included sticky pads. There are no instructions in the box but there are a couple of basic pictures on the side of the box that will show you how to do the installation. This was so simple to install that instructions were not needed. My only complaint with this product is the phone mount, it does not hold cell phones that have cases on them. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max with an Otter box and it will not fit into the holder without removing the case. This is not an option for me because I am hard on phones. I have also had a few other people try and fit their phones with cases in the holder and it will not fit. This is a major drawback in my opinion as I did not want to have an additional phone mount in the vehicle.
