I Absolutely Must Do Coloring Now or Painting or Drawing (Charlie and Lola)

My 5 year old son loves Charlie and Lola but he's not much of a coloring kind of kid. So I was excited to get this for him. It's a Charlie and Lola coloring book, but it's so much more than a plain coloring book. It's filled with fun activities and suggestions for how to get creative.For instance, with a picture of Charlie and Lola looking out a window, "What do you think Charlie and Lola are looking at?"And on another page, "Lola is wearing her favorite and her best dress. What pattern do you think it could be? Try using real material. Or cut something out from a magazine. Does it have buttons? Or a zipper?" And there is the picture of Lola with her blank white dress, ready for your child to decorate as he/she likes.It's a fun book and very unique. Highly recommend for the Charlie and Lola fan in your family!

I ordered this as a gift for a 4 year old girl (along with the Charlie and Lola dolls,) I must say that it is a great activity book, and it is incredibly cute. I like that this is not your standard coloring book... It inspires kids to use their imagination, and create using mixed media. I have a feeling that I will be buying this activity book again.

If you want to inspire creativity in your children, get this coloring book. It is so cute. It helps kids know that they don't just have to color in a coloring book. They can cut things out of magazines or find things in nature or raid their mommy's fabric stash and glue them on it. There are suggestions to draw fantastical creatures and add their own touches to the pictures already there. So much fun. My 6 year old loves this book!

This is the second time I have bought this one. It’s so great at getting a child to be creative and finish the drawings themselves. For instance, it may be raining in a drawing and the book asks you to decide what it’s raining. Candy? Socks? I live to see what the kids think up.

My 7 year old loves this book. She says she is going to color and imagine like Lola does. Get out the glue sticks! Her favorite part of the book is "seeing" Soren Lorensen.

This was purchased on a whim, but I absolutely love it. My daughter (6 yrs) has so much fun coloring and drawing in this book. At first she was apprehensive to draw in a book, but once I showed her that is the purpose -- she jumped right in. This is probably one of my favorite charlie and lola activity books.

My four year old loves Charlie and Lola, so I bought this for her for Christmas. She likes it because she can draw and color in it. A cute book for any fan of the show or the books.

Great activity book, lots to do. very creative and allows kids to do by themselves or with parents. I wish pre-school activities were that creative! it also gives you great ideas of things to do with your kids. I will buy more of the series!

mia figlia, 5 anni e mezzo, da quando ce l'ha, non ha smesso di colorarlo! è la prima volta che la vedo così presa da un libro "da colorare". bello anche perchè dà delle indicazioni per invogliare il bambino ad aggiungere dei particolari (un cappello, uccellini e farfalline ecc.) che rendono questo libricino ancora più speciale!

I have these two little daughters called H*** and M***. They are small and very funny. Like Lola, they absolutely must do colouring-in now.I gave them each one of these excellent books when we went on holiday this summer and they were kept occupied for a full two weeks! There is plenty of opportunity for colouring in, but more importantly it stretches the imagination by getting them to complete the pictures ("What is Charlie standing on?" "What are they looking at out of the window?"), to draw on facial expressions, and to use collage.I loved this book so much, we gave it as going home presents at my oldest daughter's 6th birthday party, so now the whole class is doing it too.Strangely, Amazon is still advertising it at £3.99 which might strike you as steep for a book with no stickers, flaps or any other gimmicks. The printed price on the book is in fact £2.99 so beware if purchasing through Amazon.
