Coming to America (Blu-ray + Digital)

Twice a week I have one my friends over for a movie day, allows us to chat and take in a couple of movie plus have a nice lunch. I have a whole stack of movies and borrow some from friends and it is just great. I like Coming to America becuase he like to have comedies, too many heavy movies can be depressing for us. Eddie Murphy is funny and Arsenio Hall great too, good flick for movie day.

One of the best, showing the importance of finding true love instead of finding what is sometimes expected in society. Murphy is a master of comedy, but with empathy, and it shows here. Highly recommend. Having said that, keep in mind the the "R" rating

Eddie Murphy is iconic. This is a fairytale which is definitely not for kids. Maybe appropriate for teens. A funny and well executed movie.

Once again you have shown me how funny you are Eddie. Of all the movies I have ever watched. I think the movie is not just about the funniest I have seen. But almost certainly the most quotable movie of all time. More one liners here than any other film.

The king to be at some African country no one ever heard of, the son of James Earl jones, present king trying to teach his son the ways of a king, so he'll be prepare when his time comes. Mr. jones along with others create some good supporting roles in this film, even selects the woman he wants his son to wed as well, something Eddie, doesn't agree with, as he feels it should come from love. Arsenio, is funny as his servant to his every need. so they decide to get away and take a trip to the USA to explore and possibly encounter the woman of his dreams, so they take a map of the USA and close their eyes and decide to point at the map with their fingers, and whatever city comes up, that will be the one they go with!. Well, think hard and guess which city he been the king to be, they ended up going to?. very little plot to the film, some funny lines here and there, this is one of Eddie's early work which wasn't that bad and Arsenio was all right as well. so IF you don't like them as actors, comedians, they you won't like the movie. But if you do c it, you be able to see a "king to be" mopping the floor at some McDonald's business wanna be, so where else could you see that, lol.

Top 80’s komedie film. Deze film heeft een mooie native 4k transfer gekregen. Audio is ook mooi opgewaardeerd. Een aanrader.

Film Culte pour les Fans de Eddie Murphy

Ich habe die DVD „Der Prinz aus Zamunda“ als Geschenk bestellt, weil der Film einfach ein Klassiker ist. Die Geschichte ist witzig, charmant und auch nach all den Jahren immer noch unterhaltsam. Eddie Murphy spielt seine Rolle großartig und sorgt für viele Lacher. Die DVD kam gut verpackt an und war in einwandfreiem Zustand. Als Geschenk kam sie richtig gut an – vor allem bei jemandem, der den Film aus früheren Zeiten kennt. Für alle, die auf humorvolle Filme mit Kultfaktor stehen, auf jeden Fall eine schöne Idee. Ich hoffe das ich ihnen mit meiner Rezension weiterhelfen konnte.

El paquete llegó un día antes de lo esperado. La película es de muy buena calidad en cuanta a alta definición. Se logra apreciar la calidad de imagen considerando el año en que se filmó. Tal cual como viene descrito... contiene el idioma Español Latino e Inglés original con opción de subtítulos al español. El único detalle es que se anuncia en las imágenes con Slipcover y llegó sin el.
