I bought this quantity knowing that it would last me at least 6 months. I use it to make dips (for 8 ozs of dip I use 1 tbsp of mix, 3/4C low-fat sour cream, and 1/4 C light mayo) as well as 2 Tbsp with my 1 lb roasts. I also love it as a soup. The containers are reusable and have a couple of spaces for writing the contents on the reused container with a marker.One thing that impressed me was the size of the dried onions. These are not tiny, minced pieces in a small quantity. These are a lot of onions that are at least 1/4" long. The flavor is quite good.The only reason that I have it at 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are no dip recipes or any other recipes on the removable label except for how to make 3 gallons of French Onion soup. The inside is just advertisements for other Knorr products.

I can't speak for value, but this stuff tastes good and lasts awhile.

Very nice if you have to stock up for many big events or just love to add it to recipes!
