A superb compact full frame camera, very well made.
Received my new A7CR 61mp last week. Fantastic to open a brand new camera, really well made and solid. I chose black because its easier to see.The first thing everyone should know is that the battery needs a 9v 2A or3A charger, a standard phone charger will not work. I purchased the Sony charger from Amazon and the battery charged in 20 minutes. The battery can be charged using a USB cable but I dont like this idea so 2 batteries are essrntial. Dont buy cheap batteries or chargers they could damage the camera.The camera comes with a hand grip, I dont use big lenses, max is 24 105mm f4, so the hand grip is not required for me.The setup and menu is easy to use just takes around 10 minutes. A word of warning I do not recommend setting the shutter open, it could get damaged. Setting the shutter open was recommeneded on a website but better to refer to the Sony instructions.The viewfinder could be better but its good for me. The back screen does not fully tilt but I never need this anyway.A lovely compact camera with a great sensor and superb lightweight lenses being available.
