I recently purchased this neem oil, and when it arrived, I was a little surprised (and worried!) to find it had solidified. It's winter here, and apparently, the cold temps got to it during shipping. At first, I thought I'd received a bad product, but after doing a little research, I learned that neem oil NATURALLY SOLIDIFIES in COLDER temperatures. which actually proves that it’s an organic one.The fix was super simple: I just placed the bottle in a warm water bath for a bit. It gradually melted back to its liquid form without any issues. I made sure the water wasn't too hot, just comfortably warm to the touch, and kept an eye on it.Once it was liquid again, I used it as directed, and I have to say, I'm really impressed!I've been using it on my houseplants and I've already seen a noticeable difference. I also used a diluted solution on some other areas around the house as a natural cleaner and deterrent.Overall, despite my initial concern about the frozen oil, I'm extremely HAPPY with this product. It's effective, easy to use once you know the trick to liquefying it, and A GREAT natural alternative to harsh chemicals.Just a heads up to other winter buyers – don't be alarmed if it arrives solid! A warm bath will do the trick. Highly recommend!

Opening a sealed bottle can be a bit tricky, but here are a few methods I tried and it helped me:If the seal is stubborn, carefully use a not-so-sharp knife to gently pry under the edge of the cap or seal.Other method I tried is carefully drilling a small hole in the cap or seal to release the pressure.Incase if the oil has solidified due to cold temperatures, gently warming the bottle helps. I had place it in a bowl of warm water until the contents returned to it normal consistency.

My house plants and garden are prone to things like powdery mildew and mealybugs, and I spend a LOT on buying spray bottles of neem oil solutions to keep it under control.Thankfully, this little bottle should last me more than a season! I recommend getting a nice spray bottle to dedicate to mixing up neem solutions. It only takes a 1.5 tsps per quart, which means this bottle will make 8 gallons of spray. Score!This neem oil seems nice quality, and it being cold-pressed means it still has lots of good stuff for your hair or plants.For plants, I recommend adding a drop of dish soap for a better consistency and staying power.Be really careful using this for skin - they don't mention a specific dilution for skin or hair, and neem oil is very strong smelling, and concentrated. Best to do some research to figure out what you need.Highly recommended for gardeners!!
