I ordered the first expanding hose in September of 2013. Today I am returning my seventh expanding hose.Both of the xhose brand hoses blew up (no kidding). The cloth covering was actually torn to shreds. Neither xhose lasted more than a couple of weeks.I tried 4 different brands of expandable hoses in addition to the xhose. All of them leaked. The first time I tried to use them they would not fill with water and expand due to excessive leakage.It's a great idea that I really wanted to work but after 7 consecutive failures with 4 different brands I quit. Don't waste your time or money.

I bought this to replace another one that has exploded (my 3rd or so). This one exploded in its first use. The others were either trashed or returned for refund. Luckily, this time around, this burst around the neck area where it connects closest to the faucet. When it burst the plastic tube collapsed almost halfway through the nylon casing. My husband gathered the remnants. I threaded the tube through the nylon casing (it took a couple of hours), he arranged the collar and FIXED IT! Usually when he fixes things they usually last longer than when it was new. I wish I can attach a photo of the innards.UPDATE: Where my husband fixed; it worked just fine and feels durable to the pull. Unfortunately, it burst again in another section. This time it is not worth fixing because you have to cut a good deal of the length. Oh, well...it was a good try.

love these hoses I am a commercial! They are so light and easy to store. I have a large yard and garden. I HATED watering because of the weight and muddy hose and whinding heavy hosehose.They do work with small sprinklers. For all you plant watering they are wonderful because of restricted flow, you don't blow the dirt out of your hanging planters and potted plants.The cheap knock offs DO NOT work anywhere near as well.CONS: do not yank them so they pull really hard on the connecting point to wall faucet like my kids or husband did. He did pull one apart at that connecter. You just restrict the flow with the little swivel end let it fill and THEN drag it around. I now have 100 feet at both sides of the house. They have too low a flow for pressure washers also do not give the same pressure to spray attachments due to restricted water flow.

I love these hoses. I can not stand moving bulky hoses. This is very light weigh. It scrunched up when water is turned off and expands when water is on. Even when it is fully expanded it is still light weight. I can move it with out much hassle. My only concern is moving it over a hard surface (asphalt, concrete, rock, etc). I don't want something to puncture it. I have had other types of these kind of hoses rupture. So far, no complaints

I wanted to purchase the blue hose instead of the green pocket hose because I read so many negative statements on Amazon about how the green hoses didn't last. Sadly, one of the 75 ft. blue hoses I purchased only lasted two weeks and "blew" out the interior hose section. No exchanges and returns at my expense made me not a happy shopper! Guess I am leary about ordering another one. Wish they sold them in the store where they have a 90 day return policy. I had to spend $8.00 to ship one back and I hope to get a refund of the purchase price. Also both hoses had cracked on/off connectors and I had to buy new ones at a local store.

I would have given it 5 stars if the vendor would have provided an inexpensive little washer for the end of the hose that connects to the water source, I had to scrounge one up from another hose in my yard but once installed, it no longer leaked. This is my first "Flexible" type hose, my mom purchased, and had to return 3 others before settling on this brand. I've only had mine about a week, and only used it twice, if anything changes, I'll update this review, otherwise I'm going to baby this thing for now, the convenience is worth the effort.

Works as advertised. I never leave the hose out after using it. I roll it and hang it in my garage. The reason I say this is, I purchased this hose even though I saw many poor reviews. I already had the same hose for years with no trouble and needed an additional 100 feet more to reach a 40 solar panel ground mounted array in my back yard in order to occasionally rinse off the panels. My personal feelings are that not leaving the hose out MIGHT be the reason I have no complaints.

This attractively packaged hose is completely worthless. The first time I used it the hose separated from the fitting resulting in water covering everything around it. If the hose had been tested before packaging this defect would have been discovered. Quality control was not evident. Many products from China seem to be of reasonable quality. This hose is an exception. I know others have given it poor reviews and in retrospect I should have heeded them.
