Very pleased with the Piccolo. It cooks pizza evenly and quickly. Recommend allowing time to fully warm the turntable; the cooking time for 12” pizzas was less than 2 minutes.I hadn’t realised that the turntable operates with electric power from 4 x AA batteries which are not included in the package, the gas cannot be ignited without battery power. I am not able to say how long these last.

Although, I am sure it woyld have been nice, sadly, the one we received, the ignition did not work so I have had to return it. My hope is that I will be refunded as soon as they receive the item tomorrow.

I brought this pizza oven after being at a friends BBQ who had been trying to cook a pizza on a pizza stone on the BBQ, needless to say it was a bit of a disaster however it whet my appetite to look into buying a proper pizza oven, I had almost made up mind mind when I came across the Witt Rotante, there is a larger model but this 13" was perfect for our needs.Setting it up was incredibly easy. All I had to do was unfold the legs, place the stone inside, and connect it to a gas bottle. It lit up instantly with the push of a button, the best thing is the rotating stone it turns the pizza saving you having to continually turning it manually, a game-changer for me. It's now become a family favourite with all the family having an input whether that be cooking the pizza, adding their own toppings or rolling out the dough. After all, who doesn’t love pizza? This pizza oven has transformed our meals and brought us closer together over something we all enjoy.

I purchased this unit as the design caught my attention as it looked much smarter, than other pizza ovens on the market.
