On equal quality of my OM 50mm f1.8 which I bought with an Olympus OM10 in 1980. Very impressive piece of glass for the price. Click less aperture is great for movies with a nice focus throw.I don’t use any autofocus ability on my Fujinon lenses, relying solely on hand to eye manual focusing so this type of lens suits me. Split focus and fringing on my Fuji X-T2 also helps. Has a bit of barrel distortion (ok a lot!) and CA is present but fixable in post. Wide open is soft until 5.6 to 8 where the centre is razor sharp and accurate to the edges.I’m going to buy another. Probably the 25mm f1.8 or maybe the 50mm. I have the 35mm f1.7 and am very happy to be shooting without the need of an adapter with something the price of which is akin to how much I usually spend on coffee in a week! £47. Definitely a very good buy for a small, well made metal barrel and mount lens Which produces very nice touch mages.

Now I have to say this right or wrong how they can make this lens at this price I have know idea its hand made and well made its a real treat if you need a lens of this size I would tell you now grab it while you can .I will also say if you have trouble with it you are not a photographer every body I have spoken with cannot understand how they can do it at the price its fab.

Bought as a stop-gap having got a x-t10 body with no funds left to get a 'Proper' Fuji lens.Pleasantly surprised by the build quality and good optics of this lens, i shoot Nikon normally and have had quite a few manual primes - this seems in the same ball park to me. Good bokeh. Unbelievable value at £54..........

If you're use to quality glass then pass on this. It's cheap for a reason.
