TurboTax Business 2024 Tax Software, Federal Tax Return [PC Download]

Easy to download and use. Wish there was an option for Trusts that was cheaper, since I probably used 2% of the capacity of this software to manage Trust taxes. But it did the job as advertised, and seems to be the only option other than doing it manually or using a tax service, which would cost quite a bit more.

I've been using TT for years but decided to try "another, highly advertised brand tax prep software" to save a few bucks - WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! Even though I have already paid for the other brand, I went ahead and bout TT for the same year. TT is so much easier to you. I learned my lesson. I will always stick with TT

I’ve been using TurboTax for years. This year, there’s no Cd in the package. It’s only a downloaded program. Also they now charge a hefty fee for the first state. Use to be free. Not happy about either one of these issues.

Turbo tax business desktop 2024 has several fatal flaws this year. For 4 years this same problem has appeared. The information works sheet and the schedule K-1 worksheet both have problems related to "entity Name" . Several errors are generated during the final review- related to "entity name".Last year I spent 6 hours and finally found a work around for a solution. I found a work around on the problem and here it is.Turbotax business 2023 entity errors fix work aroundI had to solve this by finding the form K-1 Wks and unchecking the box for the designated partner representative, then going back to the error screen and entering the SSN/address information manually.There is a turbotax help for this problem if you right click on one of the "error" field for "entity name". and here is the turbo tax help to fix this "entity name issue.Here is the turbo tax help:To STOP these (entity) schedules and lines from calculating, be sure to do Both of the following:1. IT DID NOT WORKNow for turbotax business 2024 desktop. an additional problem has been introduced related to the " entity name"After completing the fix outlined above, turbotax business added a new line to the K-1 wks (worksheet) that requires an entity name be entered. This new "entity name" was supposed to be imported from my 2023 tax return, but my 2023 tax form does not even have an "entity name" data field.I have now spent 13 hours trying to find a work around for this TurboTax bug with no success. Six years ago was a lot lot worse. I reported 22 issues to turbotax that year.I guess I have resolved to file a paper copy of my return to the IRSUp date a week laterI see that using the interview method inThe section for information about the llc member ... at the bottom is a .... select which of these apply....and the check box for ."this is not a person" has been checked.It is impossible to uncheck this box. After i unchecked the box and moving to any next step then return to members info the "this is not a personon" has been rechecked automatically by turbotax..... no solution foundM...

I use TurboTax for my personal taxes as well as a state and trust taxes. The personal tax software works flawlessly and brings in all of historical data. Easy to update, easy to understand.The business software for estates and trust will take a while and you'll have to manipulate it by hand

Have used Turbo Tax for years for our business. In the past we always purchased the CD version. This year the only option appears to be a download. I'd prefer the CD just to have the software available in the future if I needed to load on a different PC. Otherwise, I had no issues downloading and activiating.

I've used TurboTax for a number of years. It's accurate, and I have never had a problem with a return. I'm a retired accountant. I did many tax returns by hand over the years. TurboTax makes it so easy. Even complex returns are simple. It will import 1099s from most financial institutions, including 1099-B from brokers. That is a real time-saver.

Super easy to download and install. Was able to purchase, register and file my taxes all in one day!
