I got this mat to keep in our car for when we visit family and it's super convenient to roll up and tuck just about anywhere.The pads is thick enough to protect your baby on a hard floor.I specifically love that the hanging toys are little stuffed characters in stead of hard plastic toys.Would recommend for sure

PROS:- Inside item arrived to me in good condition, nothing was broken or missing- Outer edges of mat can be raised to create a ball pit item- Hanging toys all make sounds- Works for boys and girls- Is suitable for a wide age range of children from babies to toddlers- Easy assembly- Price is reasonable for quality of itemCONS:- Box arrived smashed up a bit, and taped closed- The plastic attachments were a bit troublesome to get over the cloth loops, I wish they had been able to open and close instead of me having to deal with sliding the cloth through a tiny slit.- There weren’t enough plastic attachments for all the hanging parts and for my included baby pillow- Plastic balls not included for ball pit optionLilian & Gema Baby play gym mat -This Jungle Safari theme baby plat mat is so cute! I really love the Lilian and Gema brand and company; they always put out such great items. I know in the item description it says this is an Animal forest theme. But with the images on the mat of Monkey’s, Giraffes, Elephants, and Hippos, made me really feel calling it Safari themed fit best; besides a Jungle is just a forest by another name. And how much cooler does it sound to call it a Safari Jungle play mat?My mat arrived and it has a good quality print of different safari animals and a jungle theme that I just loved. I was worried when the item first arrived to me because the box looked a bit beat up which you will see in the images I provided. It was also taped closed which led me to believe the item was either a return or floor model. I really dislike when I get something and it doesn’t arrive to me in perfect condition. But when I got the box opened everything inside was vacuum sealed in plastic, nothing was broken, and all the parts and components were in good condition.I tried another baby play mat earlier this year from a different maker and it arrived broken and unusable, so I was so happy with how well this one worked when I put it together.The bottom of the mat has an anti-slip design which works great in my home because I have hard wood floors. It felt secure on them and didn’t slide around all over the place which I appreciated.The setup of this item was fairly easy and took me under 10 minutes. The most frustrating part for me was just getting the plastic connectors over the attached cloth loops attached to the mat. I really wish they had been adjustable so I didn’t have to put in the effort of sliding the cloth over the attached parts.It was not lost on me that these parts are being connected to cloth rings, wear and tear will eventually set in and when this item gets some miles on it they will inevitably tear. But all in all I was still really happy with this item.Something worth mentioning: With this item comes a small pillow that has its own cloth loop to attach to the mat, I didn’t however see a designated spot to attach it and that left me frustrated. You can use one of the hooks that is attached to the structure, but I don’t think that is their intended use. So my pillow I have as a loose item just lying on the mat. All the other items had a place to be hung and I liked that.There is a reflective mirror; there is a crinkle sound book, and a cute safari theme of animals that hang down as well that all have a rattle. All the items I think are great for eye and hand coordination your child will be developing. I can see this drawing them into its colors, sounds, and getting them to start reaching out to try to grab and interact.The crinkle book not only crinkles but also has a squeaker toy inside that squeaks when squeezed. The rest of the animals have a rattle effect.I was pleased with this item, it doesn’t take up much space, there were no weird smells, it didn’t take long to put together, and the final result is a super cute item with lots of options for you and your child to play with.The doll you see in these pictures is a 18 inch baby doll and is my own personal item and not included. It is added to help offer perspective of size of item.

This Lilian&Gema Play Gym Mat is a beautiful, fun mat for babies. I had two babies in residence to test this play mat. Due to age differences they both played with it in different ways. My baby nephew is not able to sit up yet. He enjoyed looking at the dangling toys and just resting on the mat. My baby girl sat up and played with the dangling toys, She loved the book most of all. I believe that kids can play with this gym mat in many different ways as they age.The baby gym looks and feels like it is made of high quality materials. The mat is somewhat thick. It does work well with carpet underneath. If I had to use it on a hard floor then I would put a blanket underneath it. The mat washed well in cold water in the washing machine. I placed it inside a large mesh garment bag. I hung it up to dry. It did not fade, pill, or have any loose threads.It is a great price. It is quick and easy to set up so I might even be tempted to take it to grandma’s or to an overnight hotel stay. It would make a unique baby shower gift.

I got this for my neice to use while she's visiting for winter break. She is about 8 months old and this is the perfect size for her.She spends hours playing with her toys and the attachments on this. My sister in law also told me this is a very good mat and one thing that sets it apart is the tummy time pillow that's included.She never used one like this before and says it's a game changer for my neice.This mat is about three and a half feet across, which is bigger that expected but at the same time it's much better as she stays on the mat even when she moves around and recently she's started trying to turn over and this is big enough for that.The arches above the mat are high enough that the poles never hit her head and the toys dangling above it are close enough for her to reach.Shes happy so I am happy with this and can recommend it.

This is a decent play mat. The prints and the hanging toys are nice, but I don’t understand the ball pit feature. It doesn’t seem deep enough or large enough for this, and just seems like a thrown in feature for advertising purposes. If you are looking for a ball pit, I would recommend purchasing something made specifically for this separately.
