Quality and well priced item.
Was pretty impressed with this cable. I needed a 15ft cable and had every other length at home except 15ft. Cable was well packed and had protectors caps on the ends as well as finger grips for tightening. It also had a Velcro cable tie as a bonus in the box. I used it to run antenna to my TV for OTA channels. Seems to be working fine and well made. Would purchase again. Will add updates if any issues in the future.

This is good quality cable
This is good quality cable. The connectors are solidly attached at the ends. You should only use as much cable as you need, because added cable length attenuates the signal, but this is low loss cable and the difference between 25' of cable and 50' of cable probably won't be significant. For outside applications, protect all connections from water, as any water (even humidity) that can make it into the connection will cause corrosion, which is a major source of signal loss. I'd recommend wrapping the sticky rubbery silicone tape that sticks to itself over the connection, sliding heat shrink tubing over that and shrinking it to keep out water. When possible, install connections under eves where they are protected from rain, snow and ice. The blue molded plastic grips on the end connectors allow this cable to be installed by hand, which can be very handy when making blind connections on the back of the TV as it's hanging on a wall mount (detaching the lower portion of the TV from the wall mount and hinging it out from the top helps to make enough clearance), but there is a down side to the plastic connector grips. You'll need to drill a large 9/16" hole in the side of your house if you're running this cable outside to connect to an external antenna. I used this cable to connect a large roof mounted 3'X4' DB8e UHF antenna directly to our Samsung 32" LED TV without using an inline amplifier, and we're picking up strong signals from HDTV stations almost 90 miles away. We get 35 channels of over-the-air HDTV, with no cable bill. I ordered the TV, BluRay/DVD player, coax, antenna mount and antenna from Amazon and it all worked great together. Great price, great value, great convenience. I love shopping on Amazon and having the stuff I want in a couple of days, delivered directly to my door. I don't even watch TV. That's my wife. I do watch some Amazon Prime streaming video, though.

Excellent Cable
I purchased this cable to use with my RCAANT751R indoor/outdoor antenna to replace a small indoor RCA antenna. The previous antenna I had was connected to RG59 cable. RG59 is a class of cable that is of lower quality than RG6. I found out that my house was wired with the older, RG59 cable. I used to have signal problems with my old indoor antenna, because every time the cable moved, my signal distored. I decided to invest in this quad shield cable even though there are cheaper varieties for this size of cable. The item description lists this as triple shielded, but the wire I received is actually a quad shield cable. This is important because quad shield refers to a metal mesh that surrounds the internal copper wire, protecting it from signal distortion that can occur when other electronic devices or electric cables interfere with signalling. This cable also came with rubberized casing around the f-connector nut. This makes it easier to hand-tighten your cable. I recommend giving the nut a quarter turn with the correct sized wrench to ensure a firm connection. This cable also had a copper wire inside that was too long for my device. I had to clip about 3mm off with some fine wire cutters. You must be careful when treating the internal copper cable, as nicking the wire or splicing it with a knife could result in serious damage to your cable. There are many tools online to help you install cable through the wall. I had to run this cable through my attic to connect it up with an antenna I installed there. The process was fairly straightforward, but you want to protect the ends of the cable from damage by covering them (they sell electrician's tools for feeding cable through wires, and it's possible to jerry-rig some of your own). You might want to Google "The Family Man: Tips for Coaxial Cable Wiring" for helpful tips on installation. As always when working with any electrical cables in the walls of your house, you want to shut off the power in your house, have a flashlight ready, and organize your tool set beforehand. You can also obtain stud finding tools and current locators if you do not already have cable in your walls. This cable has made a world of difference for my TV reception, as I can now access over 20 channels at 83% signal reception or better. This cable is a great deal. I saw one at my local big box hardware store that was only 6 ft long, not quad shield, and for about the same price.

Overall an excellent cable, but....
First off, the good. The cable arrived packaged very nicely. I was surprised at this price level. It was coiled tight and wrapped in plastic. The little white end caps were solid (not with a hole in the middle as pictured in the description). The end caps provide great protection for the center conductor when running the wire through holes, ceilings, behind furniture, etc. The blue EZ Grips were very welcome. You can get the connections adequately tight without breaking out a wrench. This seems like a very high quality product. Great value for the money. Now the bad point... Before ordering, I measured how much cable I'll need. I figured 25 feet would reach and give me over a foot of extra. I ended up running the cable to a different point that was a few feet closer than my original plans. Thank goodness! Because the "25-foot" cable made it to that point with just a little extra left. There's no way it would have made it to my original measured spot. I didn't measure the cable (because it was already installed through a drop ceiling), but many reviewers here report measuring only 21 feet on the "25-foot" cable. Their claims seem pretty accurate to me. Still a great deal for a 21-foot cable. But if you NEED a 25-foot cable, order at your own risk!

Perfect performance with Mohu over-air antenna
Purchased based upon previous positive experiences with other Mediabridge products, and the other stellar Amazon reviews for this product, I wasn't disappointed at all in the quality or performance of this cable. The 25' cable I ordered arrived neatly coiled in a sturdy box, with Mediabridge info and points of contact should their be an issue with their product. They also followed up the sale with an inquiry email, also offering assistance. I like that kind of customer support! The product itself is as expected. Thick, triple shielded coaxial digital audio/video cable that I promptly used to replace a cable that shipped with my Mohu Leaf 50 Indoor HDTV Antenna (formerly Leaf Ultimate) . Recent signal fluctuation and thus channel loss of over-air channels, prompted me to purchase this item. (*The cable that shipped with the Mohu Leaf Ultimate is very thin.) As expected, this cable vastly improved the signal's strength and stability, allowing me to enjoy free HD over-air broadcasts without choppy transmissions or dropped channels. I would not hesitate to buy more or recommend them to others. On a side note, I also like that Mediabridge has a EZ Grip end cover built into their cables, which is easily removed if desired. This makes it easy to grasp and twist the end of the connector and seat it properly when connecting to the cable attachment. It also neatens up the look by covering the connection. UPDATE: 4/23/14 I use this coaxial cable with my over-the-air antenna and recommend it in my book: Simple Guide to Over-the-Air Free TV . It really is the best cable I've used and works very well for eliminating signal loss.

Excellent product, thoughtful service
I recently moved, and the existing coax cable cord wasn't long enough to reach my TV. This company had the cheapest one in the length I needed, so I decided to give them a try. The cable arrived quickly and works fine. I tend to be lazy about writing reviews, but I got an email from them today that impressed me, so here I am. I do sometimes loose track of where I've ordered an item from, so although this particular email was unnecessary, it was very much appreciated. The relevant part of the email is as follows (The subject line was "We're here if you need us"): Thank You! We know you have a lot of choices and we truly appreciate you choosing Mediabridge. 2 Follow-Up Emails When you place an order with Mediabridge Products through Amazon, we will send you 1 email immediately after you place the order so you know how to find us if you need us. We send you a 2nd email a few weeks later just in case you need us and you forgot how to find us. That is it. No more emails. Questions? Comments? Concerns? Most of our products are very simple. Some are more technical. Whether you are novice or an expert, we want you to be comfortable. My team and I are standing by in Cherry Hill, NJ if you need us for product questions, setup or installation assistance, or if there is a problem with the product. Just reply to this email for help or give us a call at 856-216-8222. Support Hours (Eastern Time Zone) Monday (Limited Support Available) 9am to 6pm Tuesday 9am to 9pm Wednesday 9am to 6pm Thursday 9am to 9pm Friday 9am to 6pm Saturday 9am to 6pm Closed Sunday Now, in my book, that's an excellent way to do business. No sales pitch, no hassle, just a follow up to make sure everything is ok. I like that. I don't see needing anything else in the near future, but if I do, I know where I will look first.

Highest quality. Love the plastic ferrules!
There is no doubt that this is a higher quality coax cable than is generally available at the "Radio" store, the "W" store or your local hardware depot, and at a lower price. That is the reason my first choice of cable manufacturers is Mediabridge. My application was to replace the coax that connected my old HDTV outdoor antenna with new cable for my newer, and better, antenna. The weather had not been kind to the old cable so I took the opportunity to route the new cable where it is more protected from direct exposure to sunlight and the natural elements. I am pleased that the Mediabridge cable feels more heavy-duty but yet more flexible and easy to work with. It is difficult to determine if the cable (in my case) has anything to do with the greatly increased signal strength I am getting on all channels, or that is 100% due to the new antenna but the cable certainly has no negative impact on signal strength. I am very pleased with the removable plastic ends which make hand-tightening the connectors much easier without using tools, and offers some additional protection against the elements. This apparently is a recent improvement as it is not mentioned in most of the other reviews. There was a review or two which mistakenly thought that the connectors themselves were made of plastic, which is impossible because plastic does not conduct a signal. No, they are simply slip-on plastic ferrules over the standard metal ends that make it easier to get a good grip. Part of my satisfaction with dealing with Mediabridge is that they are not a no-name generic company but rather an organization that puts a lot of emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. If I can get all that for a price equal to or lower than generic cable, they will be my first choice every time.

Spectacular Product
Ok, coax is coax, or at least that's been my attitude for years because TV is TV. Right......? Then I got Verizon FIOS, which is connected to my existing home multi room multi brand and type coax ecosystem from a multi decade seies of owners. Not all TVs looked clear. So on the advice of friends, I explicitly purchased this brand of Coax and, one by one replaced my coax cable runs to each room. What happened? If you wear glasses, you will know what I mean as I explain the change. Ever wander around after doing dirty dusty yard work, then come into the kitchen, and clean your glasses in the sink with dishwashining soap? SUDDENLY EVERYTHING IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. So it is with this cable. Before replacing the splitters, suddenly every TV was clearer and crisper. Having done coax networks long ago (remember 10 B-T, Ethernet) I was especially interested in stripping the cable ends and crimping the coax connectors. Well the quality of the "plastic" layers makes this cable a dream. So my coax cutters / strippers and crimpers worked perfectly. And stripped ends slid right Into the coax ends (perfect plastic insulation makes the difference) I can't recommend this cable enough. It works, and later, with a borrowed tester, it was tested and it has a near perfect signal to noise ratio. Replacing my generic splitters with higher bandwidth capable splitters didn't appreciably make it all clearer. So now I have to admit that in a regular ranch house, coax is not just any coax. And start with this coax first, if you want clarity. If you want a sharp clear, responsive picture with FIOS, or I'll bet the similar offerings from cable companies, GET THIS CABLE !
