I purchased this cap for myself and my daughter because we were experiencing difficulty retaining moisture in our hair, which I believe was due to the products we were using. I bought this cap to facilitate deep conditioning and oil treatments, and it exceeded my expectations. It features ten heating levels, operates silently, and is very effective. My daughter, who is Belizean-American, has extremely thick, curly hair that was previously dry and not maintaining its natural curl pattern. After using the cap on the highest setting for approximately 45 minutes, her curls were restored after rinsing the conditioner, and her hair appeared significantly softer and less dull. I plan to purchase a second cap as a backup.

I had been keeping an eye on different hair steamers but after hearing first hand from someone who has been using this for months, I decided to buy it. From over dying my hair, my ends are starting to really show. Not to mention, I noticed that my healthy hair coming in is really brittle and weak. I started using this and after using this the first week, I started noticing my scalp was feeling different, in a good way. Normally my scalp is so itchy but since using this steamer, not so much. When I first got this, my hair was long but I have since had to cut away a lot of dead ends so now its a bit shorter. However, when it was long, all of my hair was able to fit inside of the bonnet. There are several different levels to choose from, which I love that I can decide. Before dying my hair, my hair had a great wavy/curl to it. Afterwards, not so much. Now that I have stopped dying my hair and since using this, the new growth is starting to get those bouncy wavy curls again. Plus the liner inside can be removed to be washed. Plus the heat doesn't cause my hair to break or become brittle either.

So when I bought this I thought that I would have the option to wrap the extra cap around my head but I was wrong. No biggie. I use this for my hot oil treatments and deep conditioning sessions. My goal this year is to work on consistancy with my routine to see how much length I retain. The cord is short, but the remote has multiple heat options which I really like. I wish this came in multiple sizes because for my hair at it's current length it's too long and with the heat level I use it burns my back

Ok at first I was skeptical, but baby! This product does exactly what the manufacturer said it would do. I have very very long hair and it fit in this with no problem. My hair was well steamed and I am very very pleased. A must have item in my household moving forward.

Ah, I see! Here’s a revised version of the review:I had a terrible experience with this hair steamer. While I was using it, a portion of the device itself actually burned! The plastic got so hot it started to smell burning. It was really concerning and made me feel unsafe to continue using it. I had to turn it off immediately, and luckily, I wasn’t hurt, but the whole situation left me really disappointed. I expected a much safer, well-built product. I won’t be using it again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else due to the risk of it malfunctioning like that.

Tried it as soon as I got it. Heard up great but it’s hot on the outside so wear a towel or a shirt. Shuts itself off after time has expired. Very light weight and comfortable.

Heats well, no noise, is a bit bigger than i expected. My only complaint is that it specifies on the packing list that it is supposed to include a "Shower Cap" which i did not receive. Also it states a "Packing Box", but the only box was the one it was shipped in.
