ALC Connect Plus Security System with Full HD Pan Tilt Camera White Reg

Don't buy system. Bought system since automatic camera recording to Google Drive or Dropbox was advertised. When you get to the 'Allow" section of the setup in the app for Google Drive it says " App not authorized by Google yet ". Called ALC , they said they are and have been aware of the problem and that the developers in Taiwan are "working on it". So, they're selling these knowing that Google Drive and Dropbox do not work with it, aka unethical. There is no real tech support. The customer service reps want to help, it's just that they don't know anything technical with the system. Level II tech support is the same guy who just refers you back to the instruction manual, which isn't great. Testing the system several times, the camera fails to connect often. When it does connect, the video only saves to history some of the time. The keyfobs work about half the time. If you just want to view your house remotely with the camera, that's fine, but don't count on it actually recording, and it won't go to the 'cloud'. The door sensors work, the siren accessory is loud, the outlet plugs work fine. Motion sensors are ok but if you're home, you'll need to turn them off individually in the app since they're still active under "Disarm". If not, you will set them off walking around in your house. If they fix Google Drive, maybe I'll buy it again down the road , but this one is getting returned. Not waiting around for Taiwan to fix it someday . Good luck.

Easy to use and set, but we have one problem. After alarm is alarmed for 1 or 2 hours, it suddenly disarms.Need to work on it.. Any suggestions ????

Camera is activating an alarm each morning at 4:40-5:10 a.m. for no reason at all. We disarm it and then re-arm it, then it goes off every 10 minutes til we just totally disarm it. We ordered a security system, not an alarm clock! Company has not responded to email.

Spent hours with several different techs to get the camera to work on WiFi several weeks have gone by no new camera yet They should have called it defective after the first of four techs I spent hours with and sent another one

It's a nice system that does what it says. It's a little buggy in that it would set off the alarm at first because the camera was set to uber-sensative. Once we figured that out, it works great.

I received this system a week ago. It is truly plug and play. Installation was about a half an hour to system up and running on my network . Supurb picture. Motion detectors very sensitive. No false alarms when set and or in at home mode. Programmable in both home and away modes. Instant connect with my iPhones and iPads. I have two cameras that come up in 5 to 10 seconds. Great system if you want to be truly protected with no monitoring charges. When away from house, system again instantly responsive. Saves my over $100.00 a month with no monitoring charges and no land line charges.
