My kids use their magnetic tile sets daily, and the Imagimags set has been a great addition to our already existing collection. The tiles are made from sturdy, bright-colored plastic and the magnets are very strong. We have tried many different brands of magnetic tiles, and the Imagimags brand easily compares to other top-brands that we love.

This is my second Imagimags set, and these are rapidly becoming one of my favorite brands. The magnet strength is on par with premium brands like Connetix (so, stronger than Magna-Tiles brand). The color is a good match for Connetix as well, except that Imagimags have pink pieces instead of purple ones. This is a very nice foundation set, which is an ideal gift for someone who is just getting started with magnetic tiles. The pieces are evenly distributed by color (so you get the same number of each color of each piece), except the large 2x2 tiles and the car pieces. So, this leads me to my only complaints about this product: (1) this set would be a lot better if it had six 2x2 tiles, one in each color (instead of 4 tiles in 2 colors); (2) I'm not a huge fan of the wheelbase colors, yellow is fine, but green is not a common color for cars or trucks, and I would strongly prefer red, black, or clear as the car base colors; and (3) I would prefer purple pieces rather than pink, but I understand that this is a quirk of Imagimags. I don't think any of the above points are really worth taking away stars -- these are more personal preferences than objective elements. All in all, I would still recommend this set to anyone interested in magnetic tiles.

My kids love magnet tiles and have been playing with a generic set for many years, from my oldest to my youngest. We've considered going with that one big name brand, but the price is just ridiculous. I was very happy to see Imagimags as a new alternative, an actual brand rather than some random jumble-letter storefront. The price here comes in at close to half the price per tile of the big brand on the market. This set has a nice variety of "basic" pieces. BUT the real headliner here is the wheel bases! In the base set! My kids were over the moon. The little magnet cars are a real game changer for them. I also love that there are both solid and 'windowed' pieces in this base set. The variety is really second to none. My only minor complaint is that there are relatively few equilateral triangles, which is a little frustrating for my very particular things-just-so children, so keep that in mind, but for my money the variety in a "base" set more than makes up for it!

These magnetic tiles have absolutely no limits to the imagination. There are so many fun activities that you can do with these. My kids are absolutely obsessed with them. Anytime I need to get them off of their screens and onto some quiet activity, these are the first things to be picked up. They are bright and colorful and fun. They are sturdy, and the magnets never seem to fail. I love that you can get add-on kit to allow your creativity to go wild. This is a must for our family. Honestly, even I like to sit down and play with these when I am feeling overstimulated. They are the perfect activity.

This is a well made set of blocks. I am very impressed with the solid construction, with the blocks even riveted to make sure they stay together. The blocks really hold together when the grand kids have built something. I appreciate that they will also work with another brand that the kids have. That just opens up even more possibilities. They really like the bright colors and things like the window pieces. They used them building a house. This set has helped to keep them occupied and not wanting to watch TV or play on their tablets. Kind of what I hoped for, make use of their imagination and creative side.My granddaughter asked if there was a book with sample buildings to help her build. I believe this set would really benefit from a little booklet or page with images of completed projects. It would help kids get started and have a pattern to follow. I would believe they would build out from there. I do think this is a shortcoming of this set of building blocks. And as the guy who has to get all the parts rounded up and put away it would be a great addition to have a box or bag with the set to store all the great parts in between builds.This set has been great for my grand kids since it came. I look forward to much use well into the future.
