Flexcut is a top notch made in USA company. These arrived quickly, sharp and ready to use consequently I also ordered the soft V and Slip Strop. In all cases the quality was great, the new handles very comfortable. The durability I don't even questionI had a minor rounded tip on the detail knife that I might have been able to tweak back to a point. Being that I didn't use it I contacted FX and they offered to replaceit if I wished. The mark of a great company.Wholeheartedly recommend Flexcut

Highly recommend these to beginners and seasoned carvers alike!Ok, as a professional hobbyist carver, I carve every day, sometimes for as many as 10-12 hours. I love it that much. I bought some Flexcut knives years ago, and I wasn't impressed. The knives felt cheap in my hands. I was afraid to put too much pressure when cutting because I believed the handles would break. Never mind, the handles were heavily coated in cheap lacquer. So, I abandoned those knives and moved on to more reliable and well-known brands. When I learned that Flexcut had released a "Pro Series" knife, I gave them another chance, and I'm glad I did. In a nutshell, I can summarize my review and experience with these Pro-Series knives only by comparing their performance against other professional knives. I'll stack these knives against my Helvies, OCCTs, and Zinkers, any day! I'm impressed.

Comfortable to hold. Sharp out of the box. Nice thin blade but easy to chip. I would try other products from this company.

Have a couple of the regular series of Flex Cut knives, wanted to try my hand at chip carving so picked up this set. The handle feels good, as always the blade is sharp out of the package. I’m hoping the flat grind will make for easier stropping. Original delivery was lost in transit, reorder arrived two days later.

Watched a Alec LaCasse review of this knife set as compared with the older pro series with tip temper issues. Watch it then buy the new slim handle ser. Wow!
