I'm new to sourdough and this has been the perfect baker for my bread.

This cost iron pot is very useful for bread baking and also I like the color and shape.

Easy to clean, size is great for round or oblong bread

I like it and it was great for the first dozen uses but the enamel or coating is coming off in a few places. It doesn’t affect my bake but I got the white so it’s easy to see where it’s coming off.

Beautiful blue, heavyweight dutch oven which works perfectly and looks great sitting on your stovetop. Even if your bread doesn't rise you still feel like a chef.

Ok its a dutch oven and it makes excellent bread. But it can make chicken, roasted vegetables and of course stuffing in the chicken, giant pork chops, beef roast. The lid is heavy enough to keep all the moisture from escaping. Putting Chicken in a dutch oven cooking it is easy but getting it out without if falling apart? That, that is the trick! But this slides off with all the vegetables and the stuffing and its whole. I didn't even think about getting a picture before the whole chicken was eaten.Cleaning this is breeze just wait until it cools down put it in the sink with warm water and it cleans easy.I have 5 dutch ovens (yes I know I have a problem) but I only have one of these, the reverse dutch oven. Its so stupid easy I'm pissed off that I didn't have one of these when I was in my 20s. I would have loved to have 30 of these in a giant oven when I was looking for a living.Buy one of these, you will use it once or more a week.Good Luck out there.Jason

This bread making oven works exactly as you would expect it to. The design on this oven is simple but still elegant. It does seem to be distributing heat evenly throughout the oven, which really helps that bread cook sooner or more thoroughly.

I loved this for making sourdough bread when I first got it, but after about 8 weeks, the enamel started chipping off. It was also really hard to get baking stains off the outside of it. I returned it and bought a non-enamel cast iron Dutch oven instead.
