I’m happy for those that it works for but for me, I set it up (the easy part) but the directions were unclear when setting up to my WiFi (as it said the connection would be something like “FXXXXXX” and I kept looking for that, until I clicked on something that said “GN..”Once I found a good place to put it on my ceiling, (above my couch), the reviews/product made it seem like it shows your entire area within a 10+ feet radius. Mine only shows that one specific section above my couch.Once I set it up, it was working and the minute that I nailed it into my ceiling, it says that the device is offline. So I have to get my ladder back out to reset this damn thing for it to connect to my phone again? Like what?Then it can save to your album in your phone. However, you can’t back it up on iCloud, etc for storage in less you want to pay a fee.Lastly, the audio quality on mine, sounds like an animal is dying (I don’t have any pets). The quality isn’t great. I plan to take this down and get something else.I take reviews seriously, so although this was a long review, please don’t waste your money. I wish I had the photos and audio video to show so you had a better idea, but I deleted everything, thinking that it wasn’t connecting because of my recordings. Nope, that’s not the reason.

It's super easy to set up, great value for its money, great picture quality I was surprised to be honest. Sound quality is great as well and it functions great. I recommend.

I received the smoke detector, charged it for 4 hours and then proceeded to download the App. Turned on the device and connected my phone to the wifi from the device. Everything good up until now. However, it never was able to get online in the App. Even after several reset attempts, it never worked. I tried to record on a new micro SD card and even though it showed as if there was something recorded it was a corrupted file that never opened. Don't waste your money and buy another brand. This one is not worth it.

After the initial charging and connecting to my phone the device seemed fine, maybe a little basic when viewing. It goes offline continuously and only holds a charge for a few hours. I do not recommend and will be looking elsewhere for a replacement.

Don't waste your money on junk like this camera. I know these aren't the right words, but I bought it and the battery doesn't last even 4 hours. The camera's viewing angle is very small. It's junk. Don't buy it.

Amazon won’t let me say what I really think about this product. It is junk! The device goes offline all the time. The app to control the camera looks like it was a 8th grade class project. I’d rate it lower if they would let me. Those that rate higher must not have experience with other cameras.
