This is my second unit from the same company. I bought one a few months ago and I was so impressed by it that I decided to buy this one too for the wife.First off, the packaging is top notch: nice double box with upscale graphics (gold foil etc). Beautiful if you need to use it as a gift to someone else like I did. Inside the box you will find everything you need to get started right away: a small razor, a pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes, the unit, power cord and manual in English.There unit is light and easy to hold. It has a power button on the side that you can hold down to power it on or off. Then you have two buttons to increase or decrease the light levels. And finally on the side there is also a M button that you can use to switch between the 3 modes: hair removal, acne removal and skin rejuvenator. In the front there is the main big button that you can hold down to switch between manual mode or automatic mode. I usually keep it in automatic mode: in that mode, the unit functions by itself when you put the head in contact with your skin. In the front, there is also a LED screen that show you the modes and level you are on. Easy to read.So what do I think about these units?The construction: is really good, beautiful to look at and solid built. Should last a long time.The price: it is priced really well. Yes there are cheaper ones but remember that you get what you pay for. And it works just as good as the units priced 2 or 3 times higher.The cooling effect: this really works. I would not buy a unit without it.It works: most importantly, it really really works. Listen I was very skeptical about these things but like I said before, this is now my second unit. I used to have to shave my arms every day and I just came back from 2 weeks in Europe and I haven’t have to shave once. Not once. Amazing!

I bought this last December for my 65 year old chinny-chin-chin hairs. I used it a few times but it just seemed like too much work. Then I broke my Humerus bone and shoulder, delaying my open heart surgery. After that my brother passed away from brain cancer. By then, I just didn't care about facial hair. Five weeks ago I got it out to try again, not really expecting to see a difference. Boy was i surprised! You have to have patience if you have course hair. It took most of a month for me to see a difference, but now? I still use it 3 times a week, but no more plucking or epilator for the first time in over 50 years. Read the directions so you understand its a process and be patient!

It's very easy to use. The first time I used it, I used level 1. I was afraid of burns or other accidents, but there was no discomfort after use. However, its sound and light were a bit scary. My husband said it looked a bit like an electric welder. Be sure to wear the glasses that come with it to protect your eyes.

I used to go for hair removal every month, which was troublesome and expensive. After using this device, the hair on my arms and legs has been significantly reduced, and it doesn't grow much anymore. The device is easy to use and feels safe. Every time I use it, my skin feels soft and refreshed. I recommend it to everyone!

Just stops working plugs are cheap. 1st one I had you had to plug & unplug to get "AUTO" to work. Amazon sent new unit same issue. Just a badly made product with alot of internal electronic issues. Too bad liked using it

I didn’t have any results after 3 weeks. It would also shut off randomly. Sent it back.The manufacturer is trying to make this right with me so I am editing my first review. We will see how it goes this time
