Nice cooling device but not an A/C as I'm sure everyone has guessed by now
I knew that this wasn't an A/C and wanted to see if it would be a simple option for my '38 truck. Well, it's a bit larger than what I wanted for the truck and seeing how it functions and possibly the water/ice could spill, if not properly secured, I think I will just use it as my plan B which was to be a countertop for my workshop.You don't see in the photos but it has a center piece that "sucks" the cold water (water + ice) from the bottom and then the fan will circulate the air thru it and it will give you the cooling air. That's how an A/C works except with gases instead of plain water.I will also try it out in July when I go to my annual camping trip and it should help cool the temp inside the tent. FYI, you do need a USB bank, which I have a full size cube for my mosquito lantern and misc as this requires the unit to be plugged in via USB-C and NOT a rechargeable device.Contrary to some reviews, the handle is NOT made of leather but rather vinyl/imitation leather.Overall, I'm OK with this device as I will get the uses out of it one way or another even though it won't be a good fit for the truck.

Really Works
The Portable Air Conditioner works really well at least the humidifier part of it. It is winter where I live so we have not used to air conditioning part of it, but I did want to make sure that it was going to work sufficiently. The humidifier really does add moisture to a small bedroom. I'm looking forward to using the air conditioner part of it once it starts to get warmer outside especially in playhouses that are outside and other areas that are enclosed that gets very warm very fast.

Junk; did not work right out of box
Did not work. It would not even turn on. Yes, it was plugged in; yes, I removed the plastic from the remote control. It had slight amount of water already in it -- I suspect it was a return. Piece of crap
