I had high hopes for this but:1. The gate material is very wide and does not work unless the opening you are trying to block is also exactly that wide. Unfortunately you cannot roll the extra fabric up and have it actually stay. You are left with a droopy useless gate that your small senior dog with cancer can just walk right over and continue to have accidents on your carpet.2. The self adhesive hooks don't actually adhere to the wall-even with just the weight of the gate itself.I am going to try and MacGyver it into something usable but if I had known it would come to this I definitely would have passed. Especially as I see it only has one star now and the price dropped dramatically since I got it. I could return it but at least its somewhat of a start for a DIY gate.

This product is not what is shown in the pictures. It is proportionally and functionally different. It's not tall enough to keep even a medium/small size dog from stepping/jumping over it or ripping it off the wall, tearing the paint off the wall in the process, and it won't mount flush enough with the floor to keep a cat or small dog from crawling under it. I could live with it being too wide, I could live with it not having the rings and hooks as shown in the picture, but I can't deal with it being non functional and ripping the paint off my walls. This gate is made of pure chinesium and I would strongly recommend against purchasing one. This is literally the worst product I've ever ordered from Amazon.

Great idea, BUT, if you have a doorway that does not have any extra wall space around it, this gate is not able to be sized to the doorway. Instead of just fitting in the opening, you have 4-6" of mesh on the wall, outside of the door frame. I threw out the sticky backed hooks used to hang it to opt for command hooks that I could remove easily down the road so I can not return it.

This item doesn't work on large or medium size dogs.. unless your dog doesn't burst through doors then I wouldn't recommend to get this..the sticky clips that comes with it doesn't hold very well. I still have to use scews to hold it up..my dog still is trying to get out, and I am using it to keep her in the kitchen and to keep her off the couch but she is still managed to get out and my dog is trained.

Really a piece of junk. The elastic that holds onto the hooks broke right away. The metal bars are flimsy and collapse on themselves. I’d have given 0 stars but couldn’t.

Would have been nice if it came with what worked with it. Poles didn’t fit in the holes. To big for even a large doorway.

If your pet listens well and just needs a reminder, this is great. If your pet doesn’t care it will not work.

So this came & it’s not useful at all. The material is like mesh & stood up with two metal poles, & stuck with some hooks to the wall. Far too long & doesn’t hold up. Not strong or sturdy whatsoever! Such a waste of money.

Very poor quality and I am extremely annoyed! I wouldn’t even given this product 1 star. The product claims it is portable and can be installed on any decor, this product has now riped a hole in our wall paper which had not long been fitted! It is poor quality, It does not roll up well for smaller doorways/ stairwells, it becomes very flimsy! Don’t even waste your time with it!

Absolutely awful, far too big and no instructions. Total waste of money
