Worth the splurge.
I din't realize how much I like NOT to be distracted. It is mentioned in the marketing material and I thought 'yeah whatever, I just need to be able to write". But boy.. what joy to be able to focus. Weight and size are right. Works great (even the beta versions). Not sure how durable it will be in the long run but after several months it looks like new. (Get a cover!) Not cheap but worth the money.

High quality cover direct from remarkable is the way to go. A little spendy, but it was worth it.

Terrible discoloration around the magnet on flap which covers pen
Awful - Awful - Awful! In a short time, the area around the inner magnet becomes completely stained. reMarkable customer service dismisses the problem as "wear and tear". I have the brown leather folio. I wrote and explained, with documented photos that there is no sign of "wear" anywhere else on the case. It is completely around the shaper of the magnet in the flap which holds the pen. I even wrote to the CEO of reMarkable and never recieved the courtesy of a reply.
