Hyptonic Fun
This is a very cool illusion type toy. It's sort-of a knock off of the ZipString, but the ZipString was sort-of a knock off StringThing, and there have probably been others. In any case, this toy works well. The built-in light charges the glow string enough so it glows even when there's just low ambient light. It's simple to operate, and easy to learn. The "tricks" are somewhat limited, but it's still a hypnotic toy for kids and adults.

Tricky
So this is a little tricky to use. Kids love them, but they need to be a bit older to use it because its finicky to get working. The string is pretty thick so it takes some work to get it to notch into place. It's also got a join along it to make it a continuous circle. That means its a bit thicker at that point which gets it caught up in the motor. It takes some time running it through to get that spot smoothed out so it runs nice. Even then, if the string catches on anything it binds up and you have to slow it back down and then speed it up again. It's all a lot to manage. Basically, its a great item, but a little too complicated for small kids to figure out. I love that it's got the built in battery with type c charge port and four strings so you've got 3 backups so it'll last a long time.

Cool you; rope broke after a day
I wish there was replacement rope. My kid has used this almost constantly since he got it. It hasn’t even been a day and one of the ropes has broken already. The ropes are not Unbreakable and I’m unsure if we’ll be able to get any replacements.

Waste of money
String channel was too tight. I had to Dremel the opening larger in order to get them to work at all. Not what you want when you give these to kids. Unless you enjoy disappointed kids.

Great fun with this String Shooter!
The media could not be loaded. I saw these online and had to try it. This string shooter is really a lot of fun to play with. Takes a bit figuring out how to thread the string but once you get it your all good.To start it you just push on the thumb wheel up or down and it will start. Once it starts you use the thumb wheel to adjust the speed. There is a small button under the wheel and that turns on the UV light to make the string glow. The string shooter comes with three sets of strings. 2 glows in the dark and 1 multicolor. The multicolor string it too thick to use in the shooter. I like the glows in the dark ones anyway.Great fun! I recommend for any age!

The glowing is awesome
This thing is so cool with the UV light inside that makes the string glow in the dark. Of course, the string does get tangled if it bumps things and takes a bit of patience to untangle or unknot it.

Entertaining kids with weirdness without things being toss around or loud
The toy / rope launcher that I ordered came with a blue "launcher" a USB cable (for charging), 4 sets of strings (two in aquamarine and two that has a mixture of different ones of red, orange, blue), and an instruction sheet.Following the instruction sheet, it was easy to get it set up (the launcher was already charged when I got it, and I was able to insert one set of string in).One set of string is really a long looped string. The string is light and has no bumps.I held the power button to turn it on and adjust the wheel as needed to set the speed. That gets the wheel spinning and it will pull the string fast enough to make it sort of hover.Moving the launcher around would get the string to show different shape as it is being pulled through.I have tried to move the string a bit (using my free hand to push the string up, for example) and that also works in adjusting the hovering shape for a bit.It is entertaining moving the launcher around to see what shape is made - we went from only doing small shakes or slow movement to allowing our arm to wave around. It was also not too hard to remove the looped thread and putting in a different one (if you wanted to change color). Although the kids weren't able to do so. The kids were age 5 and up, but they found this entertaining.Apparently two loops of threads in aquamarine would glow under blacklight, but we haven't had a chance to test those with the light option (we were too focus on playing with the floating strings). So far, we haven't gotten it tangled in any way, so it works well for kids to play with!

Lots of fun
I have been having fun with this over the last few days. At first I enjoyed the novelty of it but that quickly wore off. With my kids we have been using it in a variety of ways. Their favorite use is as a target to try and throw paper airplanes through. It took a little getting used to but once you are used to it it is easy to run the string and get going.
