Very well made with the best high strength materials
I use this pruner to keep my flowering crab and other ornamental trees in check. It works great to reach the top branches previous years growth. The pruner has great mechanical advantage which makes it easy to cut some of the larger branches with very little effort .

Good Quality -- not for weaklings -- made an adapter from a 1 1/4" dowel
Well, your going to get a short review because the long one disappeared when I imported a picture: Got it for my Jameson poles. Cheaper! Made an adapter from a 1 1/4" poplar dowel. Easy! Cheap! The return spring is really strong so build up you muscles while waiting for this to arrive. Enjoy the picture.

Its not good
In the photograph there is Marvin and the one that arrives is Marvin Notch. The quality of the knife changed when it was only Marvin, good quality. Now the knife loses its edge, very easy.
