I keep getting bad results with cholesterol strip and Trig strips, not sure why, can someone help?

I found all the results from CardioCheck unreliable and gave up after burning through a number of strips running the same test and getting wildly different results. I recommend getting the real thing. You can go to requestatest.com and order a lipid panel for $29 with no doctor. You give the blood sample at a lab (Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp) location near you and your results are posted to the website within a few business days. There are a number of sites doing the same thing and I'm sure they all work the same way, but I've only used requestatest and highly recommend.

I purchased this and the test results show 1. 97 - does that mean 197 - why does it have a period after 1st number - happened twice?

That means is that you have your meter set for metric test results.  In the CardioChek user manual are instructions on how to change it back to US Standard test results.

how do you draw blood for testing?

You stick your finger each time for each test strips, use the capillary blood collectors to collect & measure the blood.  Each test strip requires a seperate test strip, seperate finger stick & seperate capillary tube.  Thank you.

Question 4

It's my understanding that lcl (lousy) is more important than hcl (happy). so, is it easy to calculate your lcl with this set?
