I had a horrible litter box odor problem. No matter what I used the odor persisted. I was beginning to regret adopting my sweet girl. It finally occurred to me that the odor was coming from her plastic litter box! The stench was absorbed into the plastic. Perhaps metal was the answer. Did such a thing exist? Yes!I’ve read reviews saying litter sticks to the bottom. It does, but not terribly so. A gentle forward motion with a scoop unsticks it. Some complained of scratches and rust. I use a plastic scoop so I don’t damage it and I also applied car wax before our first use. As far as the odor problem I had with the plastic box I am ecstatic to say that there has been a remarkable improvement. Bonus is it is so easy to wash out when the litter is changed.

when i tell you these are a LIFE CHANGER when it comes to cat smell i am not exaggerating in the slightest. We have 3 cats and due to roommates, we have to keep the litter boxes in our room. so we ordered 2 of these and it has made the smell practically disappear overnight. the boxes are tall enough to where my eldest cat who LOVES to kick litter out of the box has stopped doing so. there was no hesitation about the switch either, they're way roomier.ONLY thing that sucks (not even about the boxes themselves, just in general) is that if your cats paw at the sides you'll hear the scraping of their claws from a mile away lol. It's enough to make my teeth hurt but it definitely worth it.

This litter box is great! I purchased it because I was tired of dealing with the smelly plastic litter boxes I was using - they'd smell, no matter how much I cleaned them. With stainless steel, you don't have to worry about the odors absorbing into it. Obviously, you still need to clean it at least once a week to maintain freshness. The one I got is the perfect size all around...especially the height. No more litter ending up on the floor. This litter box is very lightweight. The litter box came with 4 round pads I easily stuck on the bottom, and a decal of a cat I stick on the front. It gives instructions on how to clean and what to do if by chance it starts to rust. Easy and straightforward. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and plan on purchasing another shortly!

I read all of the reviews so I knew the litter box may be dented when it arrived. It did have one ding on the side, but it was nothing major. It came in an Amazon box with no packaging so it just slides around in there during transit. Otherwise, I am happy with it. It is large and deep which is what I was looking for. I had heard that odor is less with stainless steel, so I decided to give it a try. I do think that is the case as well as the clumping litter is much easier to scoop in it rather than plastic.

This is the best thing ever!! I only have one cat, but I’ve had mini cats the last 30 years!Once I switched to the stainless steel litter box, you can’t even smell the litter box anymore! Of course I changed the litter every couple days but still you can’t smell it at all. I keep it in my bedroom closet and I couldn’t believe there was no odor. Bravo!!

My cats took right to the box. Well made and I like handles on side.I went from Litter Robot to this stainless litter box. Yes, I am scooping again. This box is easy to clean and it controls odors unlike the plastic litter box and the robot liner. Good size too for getting litter deep enough for the covering kitties like to do.

We have a lot of a cats, five to be exact. Don’t be calling me the cat lady, but I probably deserve the moniker. I’ve had cats and litter boxes for decades, I’ve seen it all. I’m loving the stainless! It doesn’t hold odors or stains, and the litter really doesn’t want to stick to it even when clumped. I got the taller version, as I have a cat that just loves to hang his butt over the edge when he takes a pee. Zero over the edge accidents, and I’ve had this for about six weeks. Life changing! It’s pricey up front, but I don’t see it ever needing to be replaced. I will slowly. Be replacing all of my boxes with these.

It's a metal bin that you can use as a litter box. It's functional. Urine clumps stick to the sides less frequently than a plastic one.For the price, I would expect a lot thicker metal. This thing is paper thin. You could easily dent it with your bare hands. It actually came with two of the corners dented inwards. This does not really affect the functionality, but it definitely sucks to get something brand new that's already damaged. Given how thin the metal is, I would not be surprised if most of them come like this.Overall, it's functional, but not really worth the price. I would rate it more highly if it cost half as much.
