I'd had a lot of hair loss for at least 10 years due to various health issues, including anemia. Brittle, flaking fingernails, too.In short: my ponytail feels about TWICE as thick as it did 9-10 months ago, when I started taking this supplement.I've never had impressively thick hair, but I'm very glad to have it back to what feels normal. It was so depressing to be losing handfuls of it whenever I brushed or washed it. Nowadays I only find 4-5 strands in my hairbush most of the time! I lose less in a week than I used to lose every day!I do take iron and extra biotin. They did slow some hair loss before I started taking this supplement, but I added it because I didn't seem to have much new growth.I could tell my hair was growing in better after about 3-6months on this, but I didn't really FEEL it until a couple of weeks ago, when the new growth must have gotten long enough (6-9") to reach the crown of my head, where I gather my hair to make a ponytail or bun.Average hair growth is about 1/2" per month, so you really have to be patient. If you have a shorter hairstyle than I do, you may notice results sooner.I think this works by (1) reducing hair loss, (2) stimulating dormant hair follicles to grow again, and possibly (3) making hair grow faster overall.Bonus: my fingernails are a bit stronger too. No more flakes!I don't know how much my hair is growing per month, but I'll try to measure soon and update.

I am a black woman that had a bald spot at the top of my head for 1 year. I then noticed more thinning & 2 more bald spots near the front of my head. I tried this product & took this tablet once 2 times a day & still taking it for about 4-5 months now....... OMG I am so happy & proud of this product. I thought my hair was loss. 2 bald spots completely filled back in & the 3rd one that I neglected for 1 year is filling in. my hair is thicker all over too. Yes try this product. 2 a day & give it 3 months at least. I also added a daily Iron pill to my daily intake.

Was starting to see my hair get really thin and was looking for a natural product to help. I read all the reviews and after about 3 months I really noticed a difference. My part line has filled in, I have tons of noticeable new growth in some areas that were bald. I am in my third order of this product and will never stop taking it. My hair is thicker and fuller and I get compliments all the time.

I've been taking Viviscal for exactly 75 days now and have already noticed a difference, despite not taking the recommended dose. I'm terrible about taking supplements so there were many days where I skipped the second dose. I didn't keep track of the days I skipped but I'd estimate out of the 75 days probably half of those I did NOT take as directed. I can only imagine what the results would be if I had. This IS after all a clinically studied product and like any studied product, if you want results you've got to replicate what was done in the study and follow directions to the letter!The other reason for not using as directed is due to mild stomach upset. It's not all the time, but every other dose I notice my stomach feels off. The aftertaste of these are not at all pleasant either; let's just say my burps are wharfy. Not a fan of seafood or shellfish, so this is really off-putting. Luckily they are relatively easy to swallow.Depsite that, I'm gonna start taking this twice a day after seeing just how much less hair is in the trap after washing. Granted it's not a lot, it maybe could've been if I took these twice a day. If losing less hair means dealung with occasional stomach upset, then so be it.

Initially bought this because I started noticing some balding near this little red nodule on my scalp that I've had for years. I started taking the pills mid-March (top picture) and it is now the end of April (bottom picture) and there is such a noticeable difference! I truly can't shut up about this product. I've recommended it to everyone. I had a hair appointment mid-April and my stylist couldn't stop telling me how much hair I had and how much it's grown. "You haven't had this much hair since you started getting your hair done with me years ago" was her exact comment. And I haven't changed anything else in my routine (haircare, diet, etc) either.

I used this for about 2 and a half months. At first I didn’t have any side effects and after only a few weeks I felt like I was seeing baby hairs at my hair line and it felt like my hair line was filling in. But over the last week or so, my hair feels like it’s much frizzier and unmanageable. I also noticed A LOT of my hair falling out when I would shower. Even more than before I started taking this. I’ve also experienced unusual breakouts on my face and blemishes on my body. I really wanted to like this supplement but like with any medicine it can work really well for some and not well for others. I’m bummed this didn’t work for me. I stopped using it today so I’m hoping my skin will clear up and I’ll see less hair shedding.I think this product is absolutely worth trying. This is just my experience. I think the price is great in comparison to other hair products which is why I wanted to try it to begin with. Hopefully one day I’ll find a supplement that works for me that doesn’t cost a bunch of money 🤞🏻
