Great product, solves one of the major issues with the Vita, those terrible proprietary memory cards. With one of these and a jailbreak you can use any microsd card you feel like instead through the game card port. Really makes the old hardware finally come alive.

If you own a PS Vita, skip buying the official PlayStation memory cards. They are rare and ridiculously overpriced. This microSD adapter plugs right into the game card slot like a regular game cartridge. It lets you expand your storage for a fraction of the cost so you can hoard Vita games, PSP classics, mods, and ROMs, all you want. Pro Tip: Look up a tutorial on YouTube before setting it up! The process is simple, but following a step-by-step video ensures you don't miss details and assume it isn't working. Easy 5 stars!

I can't believe how nice this product is. Besides some wear on the box, it felt like I was opening a new product. Everything is in prestige condition and I couldn't be happier. It took twice as long to get here, but it was worth the wait.

Thankful for 2 things. Firstly it works. I bought a faulty one (from someone else) a few years back. I tried it again and yes this one worked. Secondly it’s compatible up to 400GB I wasn’t sure it could handle that much memory. I trued it anyway and 400 gigs got formatted to the device. Now to get the home brew to work on the PS Vita, but thats another story.

Just to save some people time, if you've correctly setup the card and your vita, but it still isn't working, there's a chance that the sd2vita itself is faulty. Double and triple check you've done everything from your side before suspecting sd2vita. I opened mine up after trying multiple sd cards and found that 2 of the pins inside of the sd2vita were broken, and therefore could not read the sd card. The sd2vita is cheap enough I just ordered a couple more and will test them out once they arrive. After some searching on this internet, this poor quality control seems to be common with these 5.0 revisions. When you insert the sd card, be gentle, since the pins inside the sd2vita are very fragile, and are prone to bending/breaking. This is made more difficult because the sd card fits super tight. So once you format your sd card and slide it into the sd2vita, I would probably try not to take it out. Will update the review once I get another batch. UPDATE: I ordered another sd2vita (same seller), and very gently inserted my micro SD card, and everything seems to be working just fine. When inserting, I made sure to do it very slowly, so as not to bend/break the pins inside of the sd2vita. So now the card is working as advertised. Now that the micro SD is in there, I just update the card via USB through the vita, since reinserting the micro SD would be too risky. I felt that 5 stars would be too generous (b/c of the obvious quality control issues seen by myself and others online), but since vita memory cards are prohibitively expensive, there is just no viable alternative. Also, since these are cheap, if it's defective (or eventually just breaks on you), it's easy enough to just rebuy it. So 4 stars it is.

Worked good will get another

I bought these for my modded PlayStation Vita and it loves it! Seriously, if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t bother purchasing these. This is not for a stock Sony PlayStation Vita that has not recieved certain “improvements”! I’ve seen many an amateur brick many a fine systems because they didn’t know what they were doing. Don’t be one of them. But, for those of you can carefully follow instructions and are willing to accept the risks involved, this is what you need in order to expand storage space exponentially on your modified PlayStation Vita or even the PlayStation (Vita) TV, which is the preferable option. Unlike some, these seem to be relatively durable, and of pretty good quality. A very fine card adapter indeed! Since this is just an adapter, Speed and format are all down to the PS Vita and the capacity and type of micro SD card you use. I typically use 256 micro SD cards, with the same speed requirements needed for Nintendo switch (one) microSD cards. That size and speed is more than sufficient and fully compatible with the system. There is no format capability or video quality to this. It is just a card slot adapter device, but Amazon wanted me to mention it in my review for some reason! They also want me to mention the size, so here you go. It fits perfectly in the cartridge slot of a PlayStation Vita, so don’t worry about it! I have seven Vitas at home using these, and have “set up” several more to use these for other people. All have one of these adapters installed… to increase storage space, wink wink! …and I don’t regret a thing. Lots of extra “storage space” is TIGHT! Highly recommended for those who know what they are doing.

This Funturbo SD2Vita memory card adapter has been working great for my PS Vita! It was super easy to set up, and I now have tons of extra space for games and other files. It's a fantastic alternative to expensive proprietary memory cards, and I haven't had any issues with compatibility or performance. If you're looking for an affordable way to expand your Vita's storage, I'd definitely recommend this adapter.
