OtterBoxAlpha Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S9, Tempered Glass, x2 Scratch Protection

Have installed Ottorbox glass on two previous iPhones without issue, however noticed a few subtle changes in how the protector was stored pre-application which resulted in an absolute mess.If you don’t have a perfect application first time and need to make adjustments then it looks awful. As soon as you pull-up one corner with a fingernail then that corner loses all adhesion for the next application.Problem is the applicator template is the wrong size for a perfect fit and the sticky side of the glass attracts dust the moment you remove it’s protective sheet so getting it right first time, especially on an active screen (don’t do it on a black/off screen or the alignment will be off), is near on impossible.Fortunately Amazon refunded a my first two attempts otherwise I’d have given up. First time I messed up and two corners wouldn’t peel down, however I assumed it was my fault so bought a second glass, which when I had the same issue with I called for a refund on the first glass and a replacement for the second which Amazon kindly obliged to.Got it right on the 3rd glass by being VERY careful, not using the template, and keeping the iPhone switched on during application. Albeit a few micro particles of dust are still there which I’m choosing to ignore rather than adjusting the glass and screwing it up again.

This has been by far the easiest screen protector I've ever fitted to a phone. The plastic end caps make aligning the glass really simple; providing you apply it the correct way up (the cut-out section goes at the top of the phone) that is. I bought this to go with the Otterbox Defender case, and that fits perfectly with the Alpha Glass and is cleverly designed so that it doesn't compromise the curved edges of the screen.I haven't noticed any lack of sensitivity on the screen, but if that does happen you can adjust the sensitivity in the phone settings. Fingerprint sensor is unobstructed too, so no problems there.It's not the cheapest phone protection around, but from previous phones I've learned not to bother with anything other than Otterbox.

I ordered one of these for my iphone xr and yes it did the job, however i managed to damage it after about 5 months so i needed to replace it. i wasn't happy about the price so i ordered a generic version instead. £6 for 4 and they work just as well and include all the fitting accessories and it fits in the otterbox defender caseSearch for LK [4 PACK Screen Protector for iPhone 11 / iPhone XR

I found it easy to apply, because of the supplied guides, and you can hardly tell my s9 has a screen protector on it by appearance. It works well with the Otterbox Commuter case, and feels nice and solid, although I've not yet dropped my phone face down so can't tell how much protection it offers. The screen function seems as good as it was before, although it does have a slightly different feel to it. It was quite good value at the price I paid, but there's no way it is worth the RRP.

I ordered one of these as it is specifically cut to work hand in hand with the Otterbox Symmetry case that I have fitted to my Galaxy S9. Having used tempered glass before I was extremely worried about fitting it right first time, luckily the Alpha glass comes with special plastic guides that slide onto your phone, allowing you to position the glass exactly where it should be. Very simple to fit, and almost unnoticeable once fitted. I'd say that there is possibly some loss of touchscreen sensitivity, but that could also be as I'm not use to the edge of the phone.

Despite following the application instructions the screen protector continuously began to fall off after only a couple of months of use without the phone being dropped on hard surfaces. Aside from that the sensitivity of the screen was greatly reduced when the protector was in place. Have decided to buy a "premium" protector rather than cheaper alternatives that were available I'm overall pretty disappointed with the quality of the item.

I've held of doing a review as I wanted to be sure that the product was as good as some reviews had stated. Protector has been attached to my iphone XR screen now for several months with no issues at all. I would buy this product again.
